  1. We can't afford to be errant with our passing in our own half that's for sure, liking that it has been a pretty open match we should have done more with our several counters.
  2. It doesn't matter what you or I think, that's called every time there's a players head in the vicinity. You're just being daft suggesting feet over shoulder height should be banned. The rule is as much preventative as it is punitive; as a player you need to be aware of where other players are when you kick high.
  3. You can all think it's harsh but back in reality every single referee calls that every single time.
  4. Daft from ASM ther because the defender actually had hung his leg out but he didn’t run into it to earn the free kick. Very open game.
  5. It's not harsh, it's a bread and butter high boot, it's possibly unlucky that there was a defenders head there but you can't argue with that call.
  6. Will still get some confidence from it, can't really argue with the high foot call unfortunately.
  7. He's even more passing inclined here. I see it as a good thing as he's clearly been instructed to work on it and he is.
  8. I'm guessing that's why everyone is so interested in it, some sort of trans continental warp zone possibly.
  9. Best to just leave them to work themselves into a tizzy whilst NUFC marches onwards.
  10. When we beat them 2-1 in March we had 32% possession. That was at home. Our two goals came in the first 15 minutes - Fraser put away the rebound from a Murphy counter attacking shot off the post. The second was a bullet Schar header from a free-kick. This was before Bruno was starting. It's only 5 months later but I won't be at all suprised if we have a different approach to this match. Brighton were on a bad run then, they're not now but we're playing with less risk on our table.
  11. The good thing is when Howe says that we won't make any signings unless they improve the team that leaves plenty of options in the attacking third. I'm therefore still confident that come the end of the window we'll have two signings though the door. If anyone else can be sold that will really help as well. This really is the best path forward; if we continue to improve on the pitch we'll become an increasingly desirable destination for up and coming players who will be the sweet spot for value in terms of wages. As this happens our sponsorship and corporate earnings will exponentially be increasing opening up the possibility of higher wages and transfer fees.
