When was the last time we had a match abandoned? Not including that pre-season one a few years back where they played more than half the game on a heavily waterlogged pitch in strong rain. I can't remember a premier league game of ours bing abandoned in recent time, though could have slipped my mind.

Steven Taylor is apparently available, however don't see him being rushed back in by Pardew. I would welcome it, he at least offers a threat from set pieces and isn't afraid to take the ball forward if space opens. Other teams know they can hound Williamson and get the ball back through an aimless hoof.

On a scale of one to ten how annoyed would people be if Shola started up front in this? I would probably be about an 8 I think.
