Of course it was pretty much dismissed on here I did warn against dismissing but does anyone ever listen to me
-
I know.

Or the 350 million a week

Interesting as well this post of mine from 2013. Look at the poll number in the last paragraph. 52%. The referendum gave them the party they were looking for.
-
If only Gordon Brown had listened to Gillian Duffy
-
I think she's very much the "same as Dave" candidate. I was merely commenting that she has a fairly good record as a fierce negotiator within government. Gove on the other hand seems a more radical Tory. Great if the policies are good and not mad.
-
As I've mentioned above, I think it depends where you get your media intake from.
-
I'm not sure what you mean? I don't read newspapers and probably watch / listen to more politics on here than most whether that's Newsnight / Daily politics / Question time / Andrew Marr etc. For example the journo doing the Newsnight piece on Gove last night was an FT journalist that "he says" tried to expose wrongdoings my Gove in 2012 and that Gove tried to get him sacked. So when a journo is coming from that background but includes stuff about Gove being well known for wanting to leave the EU for 20 odd years, then it seems pretty certain to me. Especially when many others back that up. (As appears not to be the case with Boris).
-
dear me. No more like first hand accounts from journalists from left and right who get up close and personal with these people over many years. I much prefer getting a balanced view unlike some who happily lap up everything the Guardian or the Sun says.
-
Based mainly on what journalists / MP's have said about each one. There dealings with them and observations.

Well it's a leadership campaign so it's worth seeing what they all have to offer. So far. May: seems pretty genuine, good negotiator, safe steady pair of hands, seemed positive about implementing Brexit. Gove: very positive on implementing Brexit and promises. Actually believed in it, always has. Has a vision of change for domestic politics rather than steady as she goes. Both really have to flesh out more details over the next few months not only on domestic policies, but also which version of Brexit they are going for. I just can't see the party members forgiving Grove for knifing Boris. If I was choosing today I would probably go for May as PM and Grove in charge of Brexit.
-
Oh the good old days
-
???
-
Well well well, excellent speech by Grove. Following through on all promises from the campaign including the£100 million a week extra for the NHS and removal of VAT on gas / electricity bills. Going to be an interesting battle if the party forgives him for wielding the knife.

Corbyn should resign and spend some time on that overgrown garden. It's like a jungle getting out his front door.

The OFFICIAL Transfer Rumours Thread
Christmas Tree replied to Anorthernsoul's topic in Newcastle Forum
Don't know if it's the impending collapse of the world, but I'm quite calm about transfer business this year. Just sort of 100% trust that Rafa can do what the fuck he likes and it will all be fine come August. -
And would they mean poles are better heading here than Germany?
-
So are you saying A and E type treatment but nothing else? IE physio etc not covered?
-
A few interesting posts. Are they all true? Can a polish worker not just pop in and set up a building firm?
-
While they all made big noises about contagion, they all know it's coming. It's one thing for them to deal with awkward Brit PM's over the years, but now they know how the actual population feel, they are shitting it. Big EU changes over the next few two years which will help us get a good deal.
-
I'm sure it's not so I'll offer into evidence the comprehensive study from Oxford University. While Old EU nationals concentrate more in the professional occupations (e.g. health professionals, scientists), A8 nationals concentrate in elementary occupations (e.g. farm workers, cleaning). This difference in occupations also implies a difference in wages. Old EU nationals who work as employees earn an average of £34,000 per year, while this amount is only £17,000 for A8 nationals. Thought he was a winger??? -
It's quite amazing the number of major political stories in the last week. Each one on their own would normally fill a weeks news cycle.
