If Ashley spends some cash tonight and tomorrow i think it wont be too long for before the geordie faithful stop hampering him and just let him get on with it, the fact of the matter is we've brought in some quality players with his system and he HAS invested a lot of money into the club, if he gets rid of that bumbling fool Kinnear at the end of the season and appoints a real manager i will have to get behind him and give a good bit of man love to show my support. I'm not too keen on him, i think his positioning play is all off and hes way too slow. Not as bad as Shola Amageordie though.

Apart from a very nicely converted penalty kick Shola was awful today. There was times when he lost the ball he just stood there and didnt try to get it back, his movement in the box was awful, and he just needs way too much time on the ball to tee himself up. Shola will never be a good striker and will never score more than 10 goals in a season, god knows why we've signed him up to a new deal. Get Martins back in!

Yep Enrique had a good one which is pleasing because it doesnt look like we're getting a new LB. He got forward well i thought and linked up with Jonas extremely well another one who i thought had a good game. Jonas, Bassong & Enrique deserve a huge pat on the back.

Just got back from the match, cracking game i thought and the second half display has given me a bit of hope for the rest of the season.
