I couldnt agree any more. BUT In stationary traffic or slow moving traffic, when safe to do so, whats the problem going to the front if done in a safe manner? Nothing IMO. Its when dicks try squeeze past and in doing so they cant correctly cycle, then yes, they need shooting. BUT if there is enough room then fine. Whats the issue? Beefing because your stuck in traffic? At the end of the day there are dicks in cars and dicks on bikes. However the attutude here is different to other areas of Europe. We (cyclists) are seen as a nuisance on the road even though we are a road user like you in your car. Their does need to be some education for both parties IMO. A cyclist this morning for example. I over took him and when the road started to merge into one lane I slowed and took my position behind a bus. The bloke I over took got inpatient, squeezed past the bus and then went through a red. That IMO should be hanging offence! Now, after the lights changed and traffic started moving, some bell end in car got impatient with me. He then went to overtake me, realised I was actually doing a fair speed and I was crossing in front of where he had to turn left, so had to slow right down and then swing left. I didnt slow him down at all, if the cock had been patient and waited ooooooo all of 1 minute he wouldnt of had to slam on and swing making himself look a cunt. So them two incidents in one commute, a car and a bike. Now, on my way home there is one stretch where drivers sit in the cycle lane. Whats your take on that? They do it because they see the road as wide enough to take two cars, even though its a one lane road, "bah, fuck the cycle lane"

Creating your own fecking mini lane either between two cars or between a car and a kerb is not using the rules of the road, its distinctly the opposite and those lights with the bike bit attached to them generally have cycle lanes nearby, or actually at the light itself in which case i don't care. It's not safe at all when i've some squishy lycra clad gimp wobbling beside me in a foot of space between a kerb and my car and i've to watch out for him. If i clipped you doing that, whose likely to get grief? me which is my main complaint. if it wasn't going to be my problem, like it shouldn't i couldn't care less if i clipped you/you fell off and your insurance had to cover the damage to my car caused by the risk you've undertaken and laws you've broken. we have tons of bad drivers, who still manage to pass the test and get a license, but if ya wanna ride a bike along the same roads doing the same things, ya just hop on one, so no doubt there is plenty who #1 couldn't pass the driving test so opt'd for a bike, #2 couldn't pass the bike test if there ever was such a thing. I chose to cycle to work for the same reason tbh. I do get annoyed with some drivers and cyclists but within minutes its gone and I am chilled. Watched it last night. I like Jamie Oliver, sometimes he can get on your tits but all in all I like his approach to food. Was a good programme. Looking forward to next week when he is in Leeds. Ive been working on his new restaurant in Manchester, fucking superb building renovation, its going to be champion when that opens. Nah, cant stand silly cunts who weave in and out of traffic. Their as bad as an impatient car driver. I always take over them silly bastards further down the line anyways I do though, try and get to the front of the queue at traffic lights though so I can get out of the way of the cars etc quicker so I dont hold up the traffic. On my commute I am lucky its got a decent cycle network. Not that matters like, you still get silly cunts sitting in the cycle lane in their 4x4.
