Doesnt make it any less bareable. Avoided even talking about football all weekend. Sick of this shit.

Have you? From all the gameplay footage I've seen of it there doesn't seem to have been many improvements at all, just looks exactly the same. I'll give the demo a go when it comes out in 2 weeks, and unless it blows my mind (which I'm guessing it won't) I'll be giving it a miss. I played some FIFA08 last year and it was weird. For the first time this season it feeling more like a proper game. Plus time for a change really.

^ Well, personally, I don't see any reason why his NUFC spell shouldn't be completely different.
-
That is an annoying reality also though. Shearer is too often not remembered enough for what he was at Rovers. I love the phrasing "some sort of demented machine", it's so appropriate. I was lucky enough to witness almost his entire Blackburn career and it was simply ridiculous. He was a great player for us, fucking amazing for them.

That's so disturbing.

Aye, because all good players retired in their prime and straight after their peak.

"Come see Joseph 'the incredible' Kinnear perform his magic on the mighty NUFC. Now and for one month only!"
-
No shit! Stating the obvious in that article. harsh. Biggest injury of his career, which he came back from and the league quickly didn't matter that season with the cup run.
-
Scraping the barrel of Prem history. THank god Kinnear accpeted I guess, we'd have gone for Christian Gross next or Egil Olsen.
-
How beautifully random
-
Well... see you next month then. Nah not this year, think FIFA has taken the lead again for the first time in 7 years.
-
wow, cool
-
Everything I've seen indicates as such too. Looking forward to next Friday.

I loathe that fucker His Cronaldo rant last season was class. And 100% spot on too.
-
Last night's result was rather irrelevant tbh. Cliché, but concentrate on the league and all that. More home defeats in the league though would start to be catastrophic.
-
it's very plausible that this would have slipped out. News people would have the info also of course but would keep it on hold until they can make it official for whatever the reasons, legal, family related etc... Gazza has become pretty tragic, this would just totally sad

I'm having a real hard time getting some perspective on all of this. Yes the club as an organisation is a farce etc etc... but putting that aside I'm trying to figure whether doomsday is really around the corner this season. I'm trying to compare it with the following recent situations: - February 2006, going nowhere under Souness, 2 points above the drop zone, the only time I've been close to panicking about getting relegated - October 2006, shambolic start to the "Roeder Era" counting the games and possible points as early as that. - December 2007, Allardyce just making us a complete pushovers on the pitch Situation never got totally desperate. As we always managed to pick up. Is it possible this time around also? .. god the last few seasons have been so pointless. Same pattern on repeat, panic and scramble.

I definitely think Henda11 should take the fall for this if it turns out it's total bullshit.
-
I think it's the fact he's consistently bad that's the problem.
-
That's the spirit. That's the first thing that comes to mind when I hear about the man also

So hard to care or to make sense of it all. Venables... yeah why not.
