  1. So when the players need all of the fans behind them to lift them out of the shit NUSC suggests we boycott.

You really couldn't make it up.

Well funnily enough you've managed to make it up, thick fuck.

;):) He's easily one of the stupidest arseholes I've ever come across.

Why does Baggio spout so much rubbish? Where does it say that NUSC calls for a boycott? You are right Baggio, you could not make it up, your'e just not that bright!

Turn up to the meeting and have your say, take the democratic approach!

  2. I think we can get through this but we'll need a fair chunk of luck. Key to it is prem survival, ditching JFK in the summer & getting in a decent manager. We then need to rebuild the squad, losing the dead wood, letting malcontents go and making some canny signings well ahead of a decent pre-season. Unfortunately this will require the Board to get a grip, make some plans, make them happen in good time and spend some money - all of which seems to be beyond them up to now.

More likely if we survive, they'll all have a nice long holiday and then get together to discuss what should be done a week before the season starts. JFK will then write out a list of urgent transfer targets and Wise will wipe his arse on them, as usual. While Ashley's stuffing his face with Lame-Ass in some Knightsbridge eaterie, Wise will be negotiating on deadline day to sign Dean Windass and three 16 year old wonder kids.

    Bah!

    No hope then?

I tend to agree with the main article, but how long has it taken to hit the tabloid sun. Even though it's hit a national they are only reported and printed regionally and this will not necessarily be news in the south.

  3. The speed at which they can deal with things by being in the same building will allow them to react and sing and sign these wow players we have all been waiting for.

Whether it's the makem press misbehaving or just Kinnear being a total idiot, not much difference IMO.

  4. Defiance - about the The Bielski Brothers.

You tube has 6 part documentary telling the true story.

Sad film, but interesting and well portrayed, how much they struggled against all odds to survive the Germans during WWII.

Is that the one with the Billy Elliot kid in?

Aye, and him off Corrie, the eco warrior kid, can't remember his name.

  5. Obafemi Martins would consider leaving Newcastle if he received the right offer, according to his representative.

Martins, who has not played since mid-December, is currently awaiting hernia surgery – and his representative, Dapo Kujore, has already caused controversy by criticising the club’s medical staff.

And Kujore has now revealed that the 24-year-old Nigeria striker would be open to leaving St James’ Park should the right offer come in.

"If an offer came for him, of course he would consider it," Kujore told Kick Off Nigeria.

"But, for now, he is a Newcastle player and he will give his best to the club as long as he is there."

He added: "Right now, he is focused on getting completely fit and back on the pitch again."

More shit stirring from the agent, bet he's on a canny cut of the fee!

  6. Steven Taylor says Newcastle handed the Hammers a route back into the game after Michael Owen's opening strike.

Steven Taylor: "We have to learn to kill games off.

"We're disappointed because of the two goals we conceded.

"We keep talking about getting clean sheets, but it didn't happen again.

"Once we go 1-0 ahead, we've got to start learning how to kill the game and not leave ourselves exposed, like we did to corners in the first half especially.

"They were getting chances on the counter attack, and we've got to look at that and work on it.

"At home the lads are looking to take the game to the other team.

"It's all right doing that, but when you get 1-0 ahead you've got to start defending and getting your shape right.

"It didn't happen in the first half, but I think we were still unlucky not to get the winner.

"We had some great chances, but it wasn't to be.

"No disrespect to West Ham, but we've got to start winning - it's as simple as that."

How did we concede the second goal, Herita Ilunga capitalised on Sebastien Bassong’s clearance to pick out Carlton Cole, who smashed it past Given, with Taylor doing an awful amount of arm waving and pointing instead of taking some responsibility and actually helping out. In other words ball watching.

  7. So everything's rosy, don't really give a toss about what happened long ago with the likes of Ferdinand, I can go back to the time when we had Gordon Lee and he sold MacDonald and even further but again, right now it has no impact on the future, and after supporting NUFC for around 50 years you don't have to think about tomorrow, cos it does not always turn out the way you might expect.

Just a few points above the bottom 3 and with no real ambition leaves me feeling pretty damn fed-up, maybe I am looking at things all black and not much white, I'd be very pleased if I was proved wrong, but with this lot of arseholes leading the club I do not think so.

There-in lies the problem though, are they REALLY a bunch of arseholes, or is everyone just blinded by emotion.

We're in the shit along with 75% of the Premiership (if you just look at the league table), we're (according to us), in a tailspin and doomed beyond redemption BUT we're above Spurs who've spent loads, The mackems, who are in their golden age - according to them, and Boro who have the bestest chairman in the world.

Our wafer thin squad is performing better than those mentioned despite being top (again) of the physio-room table.

Maybe just maybe, it's not all as bad as some would believe it is.

Only difference from about the previous 5 or so years is we've swapped Shepherd (thank god) for someone else. We are undoubtedly not very good at all, but so it seems is no-one else (excluding top 4-5) we've just got to hope we remain less shit than three other teams, I'm also with the gents who mentioned above that our transfer dealings have not been that bad, certainly compared to some in our recent past.

I'm an old twat as well and I was gutted when we sold Pop Robson

Yes you are right, we are no worse than the other teams below us, we are performing better, but we are a lot worse that the small number that are challenging for the title and the gap is getting bigger. We are about the same as the others barring two or three points, and a whole lot better than the bottom two, but ther is not much in it.

How far have we fallen since the title challenge under KK, and please do not read this as a sign that I advocate the return of KK, again forget the history it is about what we have to do now to get us into a position to challenge but I fear we are light years away.

I was also gutted when Pop was sold and once again the Club treat the player really badly.

If this window sees us sell Given, NZogbia and Geremi without signing anyone I'll probably become as despondent. For now I'm still able to retain an iota of optimism.

Whilst Geremi has been a great player, now he is less than average, too slow and whilst his assists have been good in the past, Saturday he was abysmal. He has lost his athleticsm, that is if he was very athletic in the first place, I'm not so sure. For all of his faults he still has a use at this point in time at NUFC, we need cover.

If we do sell anyone in this window it will leave us perilosly short of players, IMO we not only need to retain all that we have but seriously add cover in the areas that most of us have spoken about.

  10. Ashley will stay another season because he will have made a profit on his previous transactions.

Ashleys definition of moving the club forward is only motivated by profit, and even if we unearth the most exciting prospect and he will generate cah then that player will be sold. Profit is his sole motivation, not interested in anything else.

Other thing that will happen, a vast number will not renew their ST, I wonder? If Ashley still owns the club, at least I will be one that will become an armchair supporter. I have already cancelled my direct debit.

I'm still conflicted. You're only as ambitious as your last transfer window, and there's only been one complete transfer window since the current scouting system was set up.

In it we broke our transfer record for a defender, got some quality at knock down prices and pulled in £12M for a non-international.

Ashley is a lying twat bag, who's got a lot of stuff badly wrong, but I'm still not as pissed off with his transfer dealings as many seem to be.

The £12m was good business, if you get 50% of success with your signings you do well, I will not argue with any of that, but he is a liar, and he did say at some point early on that he wanted young european players as the foundation of the team and then he goes and sells Milner.

He wants to move the club forward etc etc, and we can quote forever the lies he has told, but things like 3 year contract for shola, and the management saying they're all up for sale at a price just makes you wonder. Even if he had the most important and best player that won you games every week he would still be up for sale at a price. Let's face it we're a selling club!

I am pissed off at turning up at SJP with no real ambition that we will win a game, and then after 90 minutes feeling so fed up. THe day normally starts ok with a few beers and meeting mates and family, turns sour for 90 minutes, but get a welcome pickmeup with afew more beers. It's only the bit in the middle that has the potential of spoiling a good day.

The guy will continue to run it his way, sell, sell, and sell with no real ambition for success on the field, simply a feeder club for whoever bids the highest. He will continue to tell his customers sod all and will get away with it all because the majority will continue with their support.

  12. Im of the opinion that JFK hasnt done much wrong football manager wise, hes no master tactician, no genius of football and definitely nowhere near the quality of Keegan but at the end of the day he took on a job that nobody else would (at the same time we took on a manager that nobody else would, match made in heaven) and worked at it.

However, his desperation to take a job has meant hes either willing to spout any old shite hes told to or made him so naive that he actually believes the shit hes being told.

I do believe though that as soon as he no longer has a job here then he'll tell us what really went on.

Tend to agree with this one and the LM post. If he would stop feeding us bullshit I'd be more impressed, I really don't know who he is trying to kid, certainly not the majority of Toon fans.

Also disappointed with the blind faith that he puts in Duff. but TBF. he's not had a lot to choose from. Once again we have been cursed by injuries, but what does that say, is there a deep-rooted problem with our methods, ground etc?
