A new one on 5Live called Beyond Reasonable doubt.  Along the guise of the other murder podcast.  Short 15min episodes.  Not bad so far.

Have you ever seen the documentary?

No, is it under the same name? Will have a look.

It's called something like Death On a Staircase, done by a French documentary crew originally but was aired over here on the BBC.

These are pretty obvious, but:

-Adam Buxton's podcast has transcended comedy interviews and some of them are quite special.

-If you're a comedy nerd:

Stewart Goldsmith's interviews are superb.

Richard Herring is good.

-Atletico Mince is good no matter what you're into.

-Dave's Newcastle Natter podcast is the best NUFC podcast I've ever heard (I haven't listened to any others).

Can probably add more later.

Had to get shut of the Atletico mince within 5 mins.  Fuck me, it was dross.

Aye, I didn't like it myself.

Unfiltered with James O'Brien has some interesting interviews.

I'm late to it but I've started My Dad Wrote a Porno, it's quite amusing but I can imagine maybe gets old after the initial interest.

Athleticism mince is class but you need to start at about episode 20.

The bob Mortimer stuff is brilliant, the Mackem not such much.

Aye Atletico Mince took me a couple of goes, probably for the reasons @strawb mentions, but when it gets going it's class.

The majority of TT wouldn't enjoy the podcasts I listen to but the Joe Rogan experience might be worth a go as he has a variety of different guests all with different ideas

I've listened to Rogan in the past. I had to stop cos they go on for fucking ever but more than anything I couldn't cope with Rogan half reading a scientific article, completely misinterpreting what he read and then just concluding that whatever bullshit he'd just cooked up "could totally happen".  And then because he's convincing in his delivery, his guests praise him for all the research he does. It's insane.

I decided to give Athletico Mince a go based off this, so stuck the newest episode 58 on during my drive home.

Fucking hell, I almost crashed as I was in stitches. The song about Sunderland was class but when he started the new Peter Beardsley bit I was fucking creased.

I love Athletico Mince. You can pretty much ignore all of the fat Mackems stuff but Mortimer is a genius. The Sunderland songs (particularly the fact that KFC and donkeys are so regular) Beardsley and gangs of the EPL are all brilliant. I miss the South African stuff which seams to have tailed off. Fucking gang bangers, you gotta love them.

:lol::lol:

No idea if it’s a regular bit but he did a new money Simon Jordan type from Peterborough who had bought a new Audi on the newest episode, I had missed the intro to it so had even less context than he usually gives but it was still brilliant.

 That’s him. It’s brilliant like.

The newest one about him tearing past his favorite artisan bakers while on a ridarooney in his new Audi is a belter.

It’s also in the Vic and Bob random manner which is class, starting a podcast off wondering if Idris Elba has a PPI claim in

Ah yeah, I listened to that one.

Have we all watched Catterick btw?  I'm sure I've mentioned on here before but it's lesser known Vic & Bob series and is pure class.  Reece Shearsmith is good in it too.  Whole series is available on Youtube.
