West Ham striker Bellamy launched into a foul-mouthed rant at his former Toon team-mate on the way to the dressing rooms at half-time during Saturday’s 2-2 draw. Witnesses say Bellamy, 29, who had scored a 29th-minute equaliser, was the aggressor. A Toon insider said: “Bellamy just went into one but anyone who played with him at Newcastle, as Shay did, would not have been surprised. “Bellamy was ranting and raving but not making a lot of sense.” City’s latest £9million bid for Bellamy has been rejected by West Ham.
