A thief who snatched football shirts, a scarf and flag left in tribute to County Durham-born legend Sir Bobby Robson has been jailed for eight weeks.

James Underwood, 21, admitted stealing 28 shirts from a shrine near Sir Bobby's statue at Ipswich Town's Portman Road ground on August 8.

Magistrates were told Underwood, of Burrell Road, Ipswich, was drunk at the time and has since been threatened and attacked for plundering the tributes.

Scumbag :)

For some reason, I cannot find any rage for this kid. Yeah, I know it was a fairly low thing to do, but I just can't get too angered about it :o

Reminds me about the flower shop in N.Shields (about 10 years ago?) who were stealing the flowers from graves in Shields cemetery and re-selling them. Now that was low.
