It's alright lads, was just joking. I've already got a non-alcoholic drink of choice, it's really, erm..

Stella was my beer of choice in the 90s/00s until they fucked about with the abv. Never tasted the same since.

You mean since they downgraded the wife-beater status?!

After having my several beers in the garden, Mrs.F came home to inform me we’d been invited up the street to the Mother-in-Law’s’es’ for “cocktails”.

She’s top notch tbh.

Free baby sitting for years, loves a party, cooks like a pro.

I’m easily pleased but I’m not daft 😉

Not a massive IPA nut but tried this from Lidl and it's not bad at all. Steam brew session IPA. Think it was about £1.38 for 500ml, 4.9% abv. :good:

A lovely coffee from Ouseburn Coffee Co. Their beans are class.

But got a couple of lovely bottles of '16 Barolo to drink later.

My mother bringing the goods with the Woodford Reserve. This might be the year where I finally do the Old Fashioned recipe from the Dishoom book.

One of mates is 50 in march. He loves Scottish whisky. Is there anything I can treat him to?

You got any idea what he likes? As some people love the peaty stuff and it’s like kryptonite to others (for example). Also, what’s your budget?

Aye- my brother likes really peaty stuff like Lagavulin and whatever, whereas I think it’s sheep piss.
The lighter, more honied eastern ones though…

He rides up every year on his Moto and does a tour of the islands. He's a top mate so £150 would be max.

The Ardbeg stuff I love a glass of. But more than a glass and it's too much.
