Also it’s the 7th anniversary of Liverpool beating us 0-6.

Pardew should have been marched down to the Tyne and ceremoniously drowned after that match.

The last time I went to a match at SJP. At the end I was more or less sitting on my own.

Left after 0-3, I believe. By the time I got to wherever I was drinking, it was 4. By the time I was served, it was 6.

I can’t even imagine what it would have been with Suarez playing.

There was hardly any discussion about the match afterwards, not because people were trying to ignore the result but because most people just didn’t care. It was total apathy.

Does anyone remember level 7 going mental?

At one point they were doing a conga and singing about Obafemi Martins who left years before hand.

Aye. I’d already given up my season ticket but I think I might’ve only gone to two home games that season. 0-3 v the mackems and 0-6 v Liverpool

It's funny how these managers we see through yet get castigated for doing so almost always turn out utter fucking shit elsewhere, washed up and eventually don't manage again. But they're all good enough for NUFC, though?

But NUFC fans are deluded, entitled, clueless plebs though?

I distinctly remember West Ham and Everton fans giving us shit for not putting up with Allardyce's brand of football. Sharp changed their tune when they had to endure it themselves.

Same's true of Palace of Pardew.

What I've only just thought about is that it only cost Palace £3 million to buy out an 8 year deal  God knows how little Pardew was on.

Surprised Chez Given didn’t just install him as his PA if he’s available on those sort of wages. Imagine the champagne enemas that they could’ve had together

'It lasted about three seconds but in super slow-mo it seems to go on for ever. It looks like I think we've won it.'

'Perhaps it's an example of how social media can hurt you because it has hurt me. Anyone who knows me will tell you that's not really a reflection of what I'm about. I'm more professional than that.'

'I want to manage again. I look at Roy, who coached Palace with real credit into his 70s, and think that can give me another 10 years.'
