I agree of most of what you're saying, but age should play absolute no account in anyones opinions/views on anyone here anyway (other than banter ofcourse). Some of the older ones on here are the most immature and I thought you were older than 29 I do admit .

Anyway, i'll always support the team, regardless of my opinions of the owners. I hate Ashley as much as anyone, but lads like Cabaye want to come to this club and seem excited to pull on that black and white shirt, I think we should support them all the way, and not going to games etc is only going to make the situation worse, when it's not the players fault. Protest the fat cockney bastard and whatever, but i'm still going to go to games (oot so i'm no superfan by any stretch of the imagination), watch streams online, watch every game of tv and support everything the players do in the new shirt I bought (from JJB... that was my way of being a rebel )

It’s the only thing that’s going make a difference. As long as we keep turning up (while FMA takes the piss out of us and our club) why would he think again about the way he’s running the club?

Tiote Now that he doesnt have to carry Nolan, I think we will also start to see a bit more of the attacking Tiote that we saw glimpses of at the start of last year. He will soon learn (if he ever gets back) that he can rely on Cabaye to cover for him if he sees an opening.

 

Cheick Tiote: I don't want to leave Newcastle

 

CHEICK TIOTE has once again assured the Geordie public he does not want to leave St James’ Park.

 

The battling midfielder has been linked with both Manchester United and Chelsea this summer but has revealed he is excited about Newcastle United’s new look team, and is enjoying building up a good rapport with Yohan Cabaye, who has struck up an instant love affair with the Toon Army.

 

With Joey Barton, Kevin Nolan and Jose Enrique moved on this summer, Tiote remains one of the stars of the United side and feels that the Magpies can build on their fantastic start to the season, and has poured scorn on talk he will be a late agonising departure in the summer window.

 

Newcastle have won two games out of the first three and with seven points from nine it betters the start made by Sir Bobby Robson’s team in 2000/01 of six points from nine.

 

And the points picked up so far are the highest tally since the black and whites won all three games in 1995/96 under Kevin Keegan.

 

Tiote told the Chronicle: “I am happy here because the future looks bright with the players we have got here.

“I didn’t play a lot of games before the season started, but I’m good now.

 

“I’m happy, because I feel good now.

 

“Missing part of pre-season meant the first game wasn’t easy, but I’m OK now.

 

“I’m working for the team, and improving.”

 

Tiote and his team-mates milked the applause after the 2-1 win over Fulham on Sunday, Tiote is now hoping to send the Geordie punters home in similar style in the next few weeks.

 

He said: “The team played great against Fulham, and that’s why we won.

 

“It’s good for Newcastle – we’ve started the season well. I’m happy for the fans. They went home happy, and we need to focus on the next game.

 

“We have some tough games coming up but if everybody stays together and we keep on doing what we have in the opening few matches, there is every chance of getting more wins on the board for our fans.”

Its a bit bloody tenuous CT; are you really that desperate to claim success about something? Why not claim that your positive vibes have caused us to get 7 points so far, more chance of flogging that particular dead horse mate. In fact why not contact Pardew and tell him, after all Hoddle used a similar type of shite on players until he was booted out. It could get you a job at St James, or a bed at Broadmoor.
