Yeah but I think it's just an attempt to legitimise a decision that's more or less already been made. But fans are notoriously fickle anyway. I agree it's a pointless exercise

Nah, I think he envisaged exactly this sort of situation so made sure he got a longer contract and a good pay off at the end of the season.

They spoke to him when Koeman was peddled but then they went for Silva at Watford. When they came back he doubled his wage demands. Quite fuckin right too.

Is he not out of contract in the summer anyway.

Might be wrong but I thought his contract was until summer 2019

BSA has a lower PPG ratio than Koeman.

Edit Koeman's is worse for this season but would have kept them up funnily.

There seem to be a lot of Everton fans saying things like "Yeah we knew he was pragmatic rather than pretty in his football style, but we didn't realise it was this bad..."

Fat Sam is vindicating our views on him throughout more clubs as time goes on.

Even Koeman's shocking start would have kept them out of the relegation zone. They panicked and in their desperation they turned to a man they didn't fully understand.

He'll either leave a hero, or stay long enough to see himself become the villain.

Looking at that, you can see why the national team does so well

sterling could have arguably been in there. he's scored 16 goals or something from out wide. but yeah, three of the 11 best in the league doesn't bode well.

It's no wonder our national team is shite, look at all the great global sides and they all have players playing in a variety of leagues/countries. For whatever the reason English players dont move abroad much.

Few reasons but why go abroad when you could earn more at home? would probably be the main one.
