I like the idea of D&D (a creative tabletop game) but I'm put off by my preconception of the people who play it...

:lol: true enough.

It might not be accurate, it probably isn't, but I'm just saying that preconception is what's stopped me searching out a game.

We started up as just a group of friends, none of us have played a lot before, I think just the DM and I had played at all the rest were brand new.

 

Its going through a really big surge at the moment thanks to shows like Critical Role and a lot of great online tools to make stuff easier to manage.

 

I heartily recommend having a go at it.

Started as rogue but respecced a few times depending on who I brought with me.

 

Ended the game as a Paladin.
