Very strange, consdering we have two defenders there.

 

I think the reason is more than "he's not good enough"

His treatment of Luque is a bit questionable nevertheless. Leaving him on the bench last weekend and dropping him today propbably immidiately destroyed the tiny chance of Luque's confidence coming back after scoring against the mackems.

Pompey are 2-1 up.

 

Maybe if Birmingham have to throw up all front, we get some decent chances on the counter attack. Otherwise I can't see us score a goal.
