Perfect time now the transfer window is a damp squib.

Nufc officials are definitely openly talking about it more now though. Eddie would have normally shut it down with something along the lines of “we don’t discuss transfers. He is an NUFC player and I hope to have him for years to come.” Now we are almost inviting offers for our players.

I’d take the money if I was Miggy. He is nearly 30 and will get a massive final pay day in his career. His international career won’t be in jeopardy. No brainier.

As the majority of Toontastic are the wrong side of 40 I suspect we are all starting to dream of when we can retire. Pensions are something I've just paid into but never took any real notice.....until this week. I have several pensions dotted around which im just tracking down now. Im having a look at Pensionbee to combine them all but I don't have a Scooby-doo. What does everyone do?

I don’t think that Eales interview was beneficial (or the way it was reported). I suspect every player has a price and we are now being tested.

I would have thought we’d have a real go at getting 6th place but who knows what the plan/expectations are behind the scenes.

It’s a fair enough stance but why release it now? Maybe it’s the break in games and journos need to find something.
