from the eyeball inspection (admittedly I haven’t watched them that closely) but Anderson seems stronger (in both air and tackle) but Guehi has good recovery pace. Guehi might be slightly better on the ball. Anderson is more a shithouse as well.

He has just sold Joachim Anderson for £30m which seems low when you’re asking to get £70m for Guehi.

We could equally end up with no-one which comes off bad when you’ve been publicly chasing a player for month solid. (I’m sure we are looking at other players but it’s the illusion it gives off) ill be glad when it’s all over.

I’ve been very suspicious of this transfer from day one. Since the takeover we have conducted ZERO transfers in public bar this one. I suspect it’s Parrish but we should have seen the signs if he is using the media to up the price.

Palace clearly marking their territory with this stance as well. Parrish has done a number on Mitchell if we stump up anywhere near £70m for him.

You could look at it like the deal can’t be close if they are playing him. £70m down the drain if he gets injured. i don’t think it will happen. Palace are clearly playing hardball and it hasn’t moved on in weeks. I hope we tell them to get fucked and have a replacement lined up.
