Ive always been an East Stander to be honest. My dad bought my first season ticket when I was about 10 and stayed there. Ive been in every other part of the ground but the best views are from the half line in my opinion. I noticed the gallowgate was full on Monday whereas the Leazes was full of empty spaces.

I was discussing this with a Wolves (believe it or not) fan the other day. My point was that he is a good player but for all his endeavours he doesn't create enough or score ANY. He counteracted that that with teams often double up on him, thus giving other players more space. He reckons Gut will "piss this league" as well. I agree with the last point.

Enrique got a scare in the first few minutes with the wingers pace. He seemed to work him out after that though. His passing was gash throughout though.

I went with a Leicester City fan. He was very impressed with Guthrie and Smith and thought Ranger looked good 2nd half but was gash in the 1st. I thought we handled Howard quite well as they used him as a focal point. Hughton obviously got Smith to stand in front of Howard with Taylor behind and stifle the out ball from every set piece. Solid performance in the 2nd half. They barely got into our box.

In all reality Geremi is probably about 40 years old. He certainly looks it.

I didn't realise the gulf in class between the 2 leagues was this big. Smith actually looks like a footballer now.

He isn't going to put any more money in though, is he? I want him out asap in case he changes his mind and decides to hang around. I think that comment was made when Assley thought he could sell it. If he thinks he can keep the majority of the current squad together and add a few players here and there to get us back up then we are going to be a lot more attractive to buyers.
