I think the key to improving is that you get players that will get into the first XI and they (eg Burn) take (eg Dummetts) their spot. Swapping backup for backup gets us nowhere.

Kelly is a weird one. I think he has potential to reach England squad (as. CB) but we have Botman first choice at LCB then Burn seemingly second.

Hall is a stretch. He played last season for us. It’s a technicality he is a new signing.
