you see the true football fans for the comments written. I am delighted with last nights performance and still can't quite believe we did it 3-0! I know people like Aeris want us to do what sunderland did against city: sit back and get a counter attack in the last seconds and score an offside goal....but what we saw last night was fearless football, and tactically well done. the introduction of santon pushing forward and showing his attacking presence was great to see. and shola and Ba upfront did what they had to do working well together And to criticise Pardews subs....JESUS....the points we were at in the game he made the right choice, why would you bring on someone like ben arfa with his attacking flair to hold on to the victory, you need someone like best who will put himself about and make a bit of trouble for them, which he did Perch was the right choice aswel in my opinion SHOCK HORROR :excl: He wasnt great in defence a few games ago BUT when we have brought him on for the last 10-20 of other games in that midfield position, I don't think he's done anything wrong, and he didn't do anything wrong last night. As for the obertan sub it was just to run the clock down and i didnt have a problem with it. obertan is the sort of player who runs a lot often taking the ball and holding onto it with no end product, just what we need in the last 5 mins! (obviously frustrating in first 90!)

an incredible match!!! can't stop smiling!!! every player put 100% shift in, Ba looks one of the most dangerous strikers in the league, if not THE most dangerous. He's not afraid of any defender, and when ever he has the ball he has so much space and time on the ball. Cabayes freekick was an absolute beaut! Credit to Simpson who played well and made a crucial stop on the line (again) if he had not made that stop, it may have been a completely different game Santon looks very exciting on the ball and looks like he could be a great replacement for enrique Tiote is an absolute beast!

we've looked good had all the chances apart from their early one. Little worried about the gaps at the back at times. But great game so far, another one from the syrup man plz!!!!

the thing is we're doing well. can anyone really argue with that? did you expect us to be 7th in the league with 30 points? I'm not quite sure what some of you want...us to be in the top 3 playing beautiful football competing with the likes of the manchester teams etc. I have bean pleasantly suprised with what ive seen this season i think we've played some nice football and the team have shown true commitment and togetherness. yes ive also been frustrated by the likes of obertan, but we dont see what hes doing in training and you can obviously see he lacks confidence, perhaps his assist this week will help (hopefully!) I'm sure that we'll be seeing a lot more of Ben arfa over the next few weeks, especially with Ba off soon. It really frustrates me when I read about the transfer situation but what can be done, I'm sure Pardew wants a new striker, I expect he'd rather win games than lose, but with fat ashley in charge we know what to expect. Things are not perfect but lets be honest its a lot better than it has been for a while, and lets hope things can keep improving.
