  1. Rob, if you need a comparison, they're very similar to Modest Mouse.
  2. Yes, that's what this thread needs, photos of ladies. Hop to it.
  3. Wolf Parade - Apologies To Queen Mary
  4. That's the absoloute worst drum machine ever. Heath Robinson would hang his head in shame.
  5. Yeah, I don't get that either. What do they think makes it cinematic? It just seems to be part 2 of his earlier film, The Deal, which was made for TV with the same bloke playing Tony Blair. Perhaps no network was willing to pay the asking price for it so they went with a cinema distribution deal instead.
  6. Everyones been saying that like Except Ewerk and DJ_NUFC.
  7. A lad in our street was when we were kids. We used to make him do monkey banana tricks for sweets.
  8. All H's, yet not quite alphabetical, have you done this right? I make it that yours are Sonatine and Lucky Pierre? Mine are SFC NUFC, and Roland I think, never heard of either. I only had the H's listed tit.
  9. I never gave that a thought.....till now!!! and now i want to know who mine are Yours are Elric & Andy. Anyone who just needs to know this, go to Members and search at the bottom, sorted by Join Date and 50 results per page. Then get your member number, divide by 50, round down and add one, that's the page you'll be on, the people either side of your name are your neighbours. I think... I don't think that works since so many people seem to have been deleted. You just need to navigate to your join date.
  10. The best scene in Spaceballs. "That's the kind of combination an idiot would have!"
  11. Tell me about it (with feeling) I really DO sympahise - I just don't want him getting screwed TWICE He'd be better off leaving it in his name I suspect and his ma can spend the cash or even give it to him - she can give him £7k a year withoout anyone paying any tax - or buy a second home in Costa Teeside or whatever That's what I'll be telling them to do like. Think my brother's getting peeved he can't buy more property of his own though, seeing as it'll remain an ongoing concern of his.
  12. I'm guessing Mint and Orange. If You Liiiiike a lot of chocolate on your biscuit....
  13. It seems my immediate neighbours have been deleted, but the last person to join before me was Hughsie, and the first person after me was Howaythetoon, closely followed by Howaythelads. I think I joined when the board wars were at their most heated.
  14. How much of a twat does a bloke have to be to name his daughter after himself. Her sister has a man's name too iirc. Just been to Wikipedia to check (It was Thomasina ) but was sidetracked by how much cancer is in her family.... Mother died of liver cancer in 1985 Sister died of breast cancer in 1993 Husband died of throat cancer in 2001 Poor bint. Can anyone beat that?

  16. Hanging on by a thread to my Coolgen development job for EDS.
  17. Thanks for the wise words. I shall pass them on. Bloody Gordon Brown!
  18. Ouch, that doesn't sound good. I think I'll try and convince them to stay as they are. Thanks for all your help.
  19. It's not his residence, no. Cheers, I'll do some reading up on Capital Gains tax, see what he's liable for (I assume that's what CGT is).
  20. I used to work at Poundstretcher in the Galleries. It wasn't a bad job actually but my mam was a bit of a snob and wouldn't even nip in to see me when she was doing her shopping. My dad used to infuriate her by coming in and buying cheapy t-shirts which he'd then take home and parade in front of her. "Look what our Catherine just sold us. 3 for £2 - Bargain!!" Is your mam Mrs Bucket? I love it when relaxed dads take the piss out of uptight mams.
  21. Good idea. Ta EDIT: Isn't stamp duty only payable on transactions over 50K or something?
  22. Cheers I see your point I suppose. How does it work if she pays full whack and then he just transfers the difference back to her? Would that gift be deemed taxable?
  23. The 3 R's Rugby, Rugby and Rugby! Always got hoyed in the scrum
