No chance, unless you think they can score 4 in the second half? Nope, not what I meant either... but we'd be even with points, which makes 5th place a possibility if we can keep a good run of wins. My mistake, thought you meant we had that possibility today (which we do, if a miracle happens).

Impressed by him, more than adequate replacement for Taylor.
-
Interesting fact: 36 points would have kept us up the season we got relegated.
-
Ben Arfa 8? He wasn't very good, a few moments aside. Colo 9? He hardly had to do anything! Can't see how any of our lot deserve a 9/10. QPR were that poor, like said above we probably could have gone up another level.

Why does Noelie type in all bold? Is he compensating for something?

A nice 4-0 Swansea win would do me - would put us in fifth. Easy.
-
Title-winning sort of form that.

Yeh. Not much difference between those two. Fucks sake. Stick with a winning team and all that jazz... Not saying I don't want Ben Arfa starting, but I can see things from the other side too.
-
Different opposition but this team with Best in for Ba beat Man Utd 3-0.
-
If that makes you happy, guy.
-
a) Couldn't care less if it gets us results Even when we play more direct we still manage to play plenty of football on the ground. A mix of the two.
-
Also might be a case of Pardew worrying about where the goals are going to come from. You'd assume having 2 strikers on the pitch might bring you more goals than 1 who doesn't score enough and Ben Arfa. Yes I know Ben Arfa has 2 in his last 4 appearances.
-
Well you've argued your point expertly there.
-
Glad we've brought in the über worker Shola Ameobi to replace him then. Pardew has a formation today that Ben Arfa doesn't fit into. Simple, really.
-
Oh and Ferguson is back. CALM DOWN CT
-
Fine by me. Ben Arfa isn't putting the effort in in training apparently, so I can understand why he's dropped.
-
Handsome dude, no denying that.

It's still 2 hours till kick-off. Don't really think we want to be giving Hughes any help.

Team news at 11.30am?

Don't want him according to this. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/7429621/Magpies-cool-on-Cissokho If that's the case I can only assume they're happy with what they've got at LB and are more interested in a central defender (I don't think Cissokho has ever played centrally).

Could go fifth if results (really) go our way.
