For a man of this calibre & stature in the game the way Ashley's treat him is nothing short of a disgrace. Yet McClaren got virtually an open cheque book ffs disgusting. -

Rafa Benitez The Newcastle fans are clever especially the ones on toontastic except that T dansmith what a tosser
-
Rafa was asked if he would stay at Newcastle if he was not backed by at least one new signing before Wednesday night: “I have to just worry about Burnley and that’s it. I think the fans are very clever and they know what is going on.” “What I have to do is keep going. I am a professional and I want to do well.” “I am happy with the city, the fans and can see the potential of the club.” “I have to be sure that everybody understands the message, we have the same idea and we are on the same page.” “We have to keep working hard.” “I am sure I will keep working as hard as now with all my staff. We try to improve the team.” “I think if we do anything we don’t have time for this game against Burnley.” “At least we will have time to do something.”
-
Rafa Benitez: “The Newcastle fans are very clever, they know what is going on. (Asked about any January signings) “I hope we can (still) do something.” Trying to remain positive but looked pissed off.

Rafa Benitez has told Aleksandar Mitrovic and Jonjo Shelvey to forget about moving to a rival Premier League club in the last few days of the January window. Shelvey is wanted by West Ham United but Benitez isn’t interested in selling the midfielder. He said: “We are not thinking about selling any player to a Premier League team, a competitor because that has no sense. We have to do what we done in August, manage the players we have. “If we go for a player in the Premier League they normally say no. When asked if he would add to his squad, he said: “I hope so. “I will tell you on January 31. “But I hope so. We gave a list of players on January 1. The plan was for an A, B and C.” Rafa gave the list to Charnley on 1st January. The baldy little twat put it down somewhere & cant remember were he put it. -
Well worked out
