  1. Yeah he's put the brown trousers away for now.
  2. Not sure how that happened but get in
  3. If only we had one .... who was in favour with the manager.
  4. Again he's putting out a strong team there should be no excuses why we shouldnt take all 3 points easily.
  5. Could have played every game for us he also knew if he didn't fancy playing Pardew would lie for him and pretend he was injured. Fanks for saving us from relegation Loic, Mike says fanks as well.
  6. In talks with Besiktas on the recommendation of Demba Ba
  7. It's Ashley's little joke he does it everytime lures you in then gives you a swift kick in the nuts.
  8. Aye its gambling time again for Ashley & Pardew.
  9. He has no interest in moving to Newcastle. Thats what you get Pardew for lying about him being injured at the end of last season.
  10. Loic Remy has turned down a fresh Newcastle transfer bid and made clear he has no interest in moving to Newcastle. Local media in West London report that United submitted a new offer for the former on-loan striker this week. However, Loic Remy has this morning (Friday) rejected the Newcastle bid and reiterated that he will onl yleave Queens Park Rangers for a ‘Champions League’ club. The forward’s preference is said to be either Arsenal or Chelsea but neither club have made an offer. Fanks Loic
  11. All the best hope its a good 'un
  12. Honestly think we've seen the best of him mate.
  13. Really the guy couldn't buy a goal last season.
  14. 5 hours ago by Jim Robertson French media are reporting that Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa’s nightmare stay at Newcastle could now finally be over, at least in the short-term. It is reported that Mapou has agreed the details of am initial season long loan deal with Marseille, including wages, with it now awaiting Newcastle United giving the go ahead to the deal. The 25 year old still has four years left on his United contract and has been given next to no chance at centre-back by Alan Pardew. Foot Mercato report that the Newcastle player has concluded all arrangements with Marseille and despite apparently carrying an ankle injury at the moment, he will link up with the French club as soon as United give it the green light. Marseille had a desperate start to the season and conceded five goals in their opening two matches to lowly Bastia and Montpellier, picking up only one point in the process. They steadied the ship with a single goal win against Guingamp last weekend, for who Sylvain Marveaux played the full ninety minutes. Newcastle are obviously desperate to get Mapou out of the club but whether a loan deal would lead to Mike Ashley allowing another incoming transfer(s) is open to question.
  15. You'd have thought if we were serious about getting Remy we'd have been straight in for him when the Liverpool deal fell through. I think the spendings done in this window I hope I'm wrong but from Pardew's statement it looks like he's sticking with Cisse.
  16. Pardews even taken the fun out of guessing if we'd sign a striker before the window closes.
  17. Ridiculous when you think how much money is lying there from TV & Wonga. Cisse's 2 weeks away roughly, then they've to get him match fit, then he'll need time to gel with the rest of the team, then we have to hope he can score goals.
  18. Alan Pardew; “I do remember not so long ago, all of us talking very highly about Papiss and whether we could keep him. “With Papiss there’s a possibility he could score a lot of goals in this team – so I wouldn’t write him off by any stretch of the imagination. “He us about two weeks away from starting training, so he is not far away, that is something that seems to have been forgotten about. “If we are going to bring a player in then they have to be better and above Riviere and Papiss, otherwise there’s no point. “You look at those transfers; Jordan Rhodes, McCormack and Shane Long, and you look at the prices, I don’t think we’d have done those three transfers. “He (Cisse) had two or three chances a game and he fluffed his lines a little bit, but he probably needs more than that, top strikers do need more than that – I would never put off the fact that he can come again – and come again here.” Looks like thats the road we're going down relying on Cisse as our main striker.
  19. “It’s a very, very difficult place to come.” After last nights game he can't keep going with these excuses he played with a strong team. Yet we only won by virtue of an own goal against a team that was thrashed 4-1 by Grimsby on Saturday. I know we're only a couple of games into the season but really this is looking like a continuation of the 2nd half of last season.
