  1. Protesting won't get rid off Ashley though
  2. This is going to be his last job for a very long time, it could even be his last, especially as a manager. The last things hes going to want to do is resign
  3. This We have to attempt to make it a positive atmosphere. Our opinion on McClaren is irrelevant to the board
  4. He's had nothing but support from the fans, to say how shit we've been the atmosphere has been alright not negative at all. It was only yesterday the fans turned but I'm sure people will start saying we've been shouting for his head all season
  5. That's almost what I tried to say, but I worded it all wrong (and looked a bit of a twat!) I do believe that Ashley wants this football club to be successful and I don't believe just for financial reasons
  6. I mean the club's money, the 80m we have spent this season. I think I worded everything I meant terribly I apologise!
  7. Cronies? He gets free advertising for SD but he doesn't even take a salary from the club. The salary that the Halls/Shephards took was horrific He's made many, many mistakes but he isn't leeching the club
  8. Unpopular opinion here but I don't necessarily want Ashley out People will disagree but he bought this football club to make it successful, yes he wanted to promote sports direct but to a certain extent I don't mind that Ashley has consistently put his money into the wrong people and that's we are where we are in the league. If Ashley brought in a top manager (Moyes for example) let him have full control over transfers then I wouldn't have a problem with Ashley at all. The problem is that he doesn't trust the manager, but has a ridiculous amount of trust in Charnley and Carr.
  9. Right fair enough mate I see what you mean now, it turned out to be a positive switch but at the time it was a huge gamble
  10. No, I mean we went from Kinnear/Shearer from the season before. Shearer being the latter, we gave the job to Houghton which was a positive switch
  11. The thing is though, McClaren shouldn't be sacked because of the Bournemouth game. To a certain extent it's irrelevant. You don't sack a manager because of one game, you sack a manager because you've lost faith in him. The board obviously feel that McClaren can get is out of trouble. Really shows the lack of football knowledge on the board.
  12. That's what annoys me. Milburn, leazes and East stand is dead. Even the gallowgate is. It's just east corner that bothers, it's literally the same few people who start the chants too
  13. Even he went off injured. I'd give Perez the nod
  14. 'My only focus is Bournemouth' Howe must be shivering in his boots like
  15. Yeah let's hope those 25 people who actually sing at gallowgate East corner can create such a wonderful atmosphere
  16. I'm not sure about that... Elliot has had decent games but overall Mignolet is better
  17. Micah Richards at cb/full back. Apparently going to Villa was going to fatalise his England career
  18. My first choice would be Moyes, don't think he will come like and doubt the board will even try and get him. Should of acted during the 18 days break
  19. The problem is I don't trust the board to: 1)Sack McClaren 2)Bring in a suitable replacement Kinnear X3 O:
  20. Didn't we try and get McClaren in with 10 games left last season? There could be truth in this 'if we lose against Bournemouth he's sacked'
  21. Is there even a way we can find out if the players have relegation clauses? If not we are fucked. I would ask Lee Ryder, if he's says we don't then we probably will
