all this transfer talk on tyneside is making me dizzy!
-
basically what they are saying is.........if newcastle don`t get owen, then they will have the money to fund a move for luque....if you read the chronicle freddy shepherd said that any deal would have to be done TODAY so therefore we fly to madrid today see if owen says yes or no.....if yes then no luque and we go home with owen........if its no then we drive down the road to la coruna and complete the deal for luque. thats the only way i see around that story from raizor.org.

luque/viduka Luque holds key for viduka move! 25 Aug 2005 In an exclusive interview with clubcall, leading Spanish journalist Ivan Modia has revealed that Middlesbrough striker Mark Viduka recently agreed to join Deportivo La Coruna, only for the deal to break down over the transfer fee, writes Kevin Hatchard. Viduka has been linked with moves to Newcastle Utd and Everton in recent weeks, but Modia has revealed the injury-hit striker nearly moved to La Liga: 'The Deportivo manager Joaquin Caparros wants a big striker to complete his squad, and he wants one from the Premiership.' 'They asked about the situation of Viduka at Middlesbrough, and he agreed to join Deportivo.' 'However, the two clubs couldn't agree a fee, and Viduka didn't move.' Both Middlesbrough and Viduka have publicly stated they have no interest in arranging a transfer, but Modia believes that such statements are merely a smokescreen: 'Viduka said in public that he would never join Deportivo, but the only reason he didn't move to Spain was that Depor couldn't afford him.' 'They only have £1.5million to spend on a striker, and that was not enough for Viduka.' However, the Galician club could receive a cash boost if they can sell star striker Albert Luque, with Newcastle United still interested in the Spanish international. Modia believes that if Depor sell Luque, they could come back in for Viduka: 'They need to sell Luque because he's the best player and would make the most money.' 'Viduka is a top target, but unless Luque is sold, they can't afford anyone.'

no wonder the players morale is so poor, the fans screamoing abuse at the games,it takes a tole on the players and affects their game so im really not suprised what is going on,im not saying thats the only reason, the players know the chairmans a tosser for not bringing in the players, but they dont need to get the stick! its also a good exmple of souness' poor tacticle brain....2-0 down, milner, nzoggy, clark on the bench......we need a bit of pace in the game and try and get a goal....so souey brings on old lee clark!!!! and evan though we were 2-0,he stook to his defensive midfield evan at that stage! An absolute didgrace all round! carnt work what must be goin on in souness' hollow head!
-
By all accounts we were dreadful though, as with Saturday and despite a battling performance against Arsenal, we never really looked like scoring. 17994[/snapback] Are you suprised? we have an uncommited player in midfield(JJ),bowyer and parker gave 100% as usual(yet bowyer got bought of for MILNER),FAYE PLAYED ALRIGHT,BUT THE DEFENSIVE MIDFIELD TACTIC AT 2-0 DOWN IS POOR MANAGEMENT!
-
heres the fucking excuse, the 2 bolton goals were offside, and we shud have been given a penalty. SIMPLE AS FUCKED OVER BY REFS AGAIN!
