  1. Same old scousers with their victim complex, boo-fucking-hoo... 10 games is adequate, going by the fact that he has done it before and didn't learn from a previous ban if nothing else. Of course the joke of a club and it's piss poor fans will be up in arms about the whole situation, scummy, classless wanks, the lot of em.

  2. He's got form:

In an Eredivisie match against PSV, Suarez took a bite into Otman Bakkal's shoulder. Suarez was immediately suspended and was only able to make one more appearance with the club before leaving for Liverpool. (Taken from bleacherreport.com)

  3. Unbelievable - seriously unbelievable! There's some amazingly mental folk out there to come out with those sort of comments...

Fuck off all you opportunistic, agenda driven c*nts in the media that will be lining up to make a mountain out of a molehill in order to justify your jobs and sense of self-righteous superiority.

What is it with the British moral one-up man-ship? Queue righteous indignation, something this country excels at.

    Fucking unreal :idiot:

  4. There's no assumptions or rumour in play here, the media have reported that he has been arrested and cautioned, that is all.

And you're last line is just the usual Daily Mail bollocks.

Whatever, you're living in dreamland if you think it doesn't happen.

  5. He was originally arrested in November and the media sat on it, clearly there's now something more concrete for them to base their accusations on.

Why are you so convinced of his innocence?

As KCG said, because he's not been proven guilty. It's really easy to destroy someone's reputation through assumptions and rumour. I would say why do you presume there's guilt?

On top of that I wouldn't be surprised on a lot of the 'accusations' are coming from whackos seeking attention/crying wolf, or even people judging past actions via today's pc nonsense - the fact a person can't pick up and comfort a child that's fallen down without it being seen as 'iffy'... it's a sad state of affairs really.

  6. I don't believe Rolf Harris is guilty, the whole enquiry has the potential to be very damaging just on accusations without evidence - any crackpot could cry wolf over this and ruin perfectly good reputations. It's sad really that any names are exposed prior to concrete convictions tbh.

  7. The Outhere Brothers have been spotted near a fertilizer factory in Texas...

...Boom Boom Boom, let me hear you say Waco. :blush2:

  8. I've always preferred a side playing down the wings then crossing it to a big centre forward, perhaps with a smaller, faster foil player running off them. Just more enjoyable and it always seemed to work pretty well as Scoobos said. I'll always remember that season we had Shearer and Duncan Ferguson up front, they scared defences shitless, as well as the Shearer/Bellamy partnership, all relied on wing-play. Hopefully we'd be able to mix it up a bit as well so we could include some play down the middle.

  9. I've not seen one Mackem display an ounce of humility over the result like. You'd think there would be one or two of them who would look at the big picture and think it might be best not to gloat until they've actually strung a few wins together against us and have something to brag about, or climbed over us in the table at least.

Only 3 wins against us this century (18 attempts), home or away. In that time we've won four times as many derbies at their place as they have for fucks sake.

They make me laugh, like the Man City fans that try to lord it over Man U fans after one title win. Go and celebrate your deserved win for what it was, enjoy your day in the sun. Don't start giving it the Billy Big Bollocks over a superior club though.

Careful, the arrogance can creep in... regardless of the Mackem's lack of humility they still deserved there win. We utterly failed, from top to bottom and no amount of form either side of Sunday's match will change that. Sunderland can no longer be written off as a pisstake game, Di Canio's been in charge for two games and the other 3-2 loss against Chelsea was by no means a terrible result. It could be the start of a successful change for them, I hope that's not the case but it's just possible Di Canio's passion could carry them further than anyone expects, Keegan's did for us.

  10. As I said earlier, we didn't take them seriously, underestimated them greatly. We deserved everything we got at the match and for Pardew to roll out the fatigue excuse is just an extra kick in the bollocks to be honest. Then there's the embarrassing rioting scum after the match, we showed ourselves as arrogant in the extreme and then followed it up with a display of complete classlessness. We were beaten and shamed, a black day for the Toon indeed.

  11. Genuine question here Renton. What's made you change your mind on Pardew compared to a couple of weeks ago?

I have to say I'm coming around to the same thinking, Pards shows nothing new of late and seems to just go through the motions.
  12. It's not just about something as objective as a team selection, man. It's about living amongst a philosophy, an attitude, a dynamic. We look beaten before kick off most of the time.

That was certainly the case today, we just totally underestimated their chances - they blew up our Death Star with an X-Wing

  13. We deserved that - we underestimated them and arrogance had crept in to pretty much every fan or person linked with our club. They wanted it more and now I feel physically fucking sickened. People just assumed it'd be 3 points in the bag and a continued embarrassment of the mackems, making us the usual top team in the North East. We've been humbled. I'm sure some will say the ref was against us, the linesmen were against us, we've only just had a European game, etc, but it's just excuses used to make feel us better in this case, we simply weren't there and now the Mackems have beaten us at St James... 3-0.

One thing to note was how much people have ridiculed Di Canio, I myself didn't think anything would come of it but looking at it it seems that sometimes passion is all you need - thinking about it that's pretty much all Keegan ever had in his bag and look where it got us. I said Di Canio was dangerous and for that I was right.
