  1. Regardless of whether the papers were on board or not or whether the journos have arrived late at the party, I really don't care - having them on the side of the fans now is far better than not and as fans we need as much help as we can get. We've known for a long time that Ashley is a scumbag with no interest in the club or any part of it and it's following, if the papers are finally with us it may just be the coverage and rallying point the local populace needs to organize some proper anti-Ashley work. Stop the sniping of potential allies and concentrate on the real enemy of Newcastle United = Mike Ashley.

  2. There's 3 choices given these next few games are televised

1.) Go and let everyone know how you feel shouting, singing, bedsheets whatever it takes.

2.) Don't bother going and show an empty ground for the tv camera's.

Either of those 2 choice's Ashley won't like.

3.) Just keep going and shut up moaning when Ashley gives it to you up the arse because he loves you.

    This

  3. Given the owner (via the manager) has stated simply finishing top half is their aim; could that be a reason for the pervading lack of effort from the team?

It's certainly not going to help - let's face it, why would a player bother putting any effort in if they thought that all they needed to do was just enough to stay in the top ten? I can't imagine many players wanting to join us in the future personally, not if they're not going to be even attempting to win stuff.

  4. One defeat. Let's move on gents. Hardly the end of the world.

It's not really just 'one defeat' though is it? It's a second consecutive derby loss for a team of players that don't give enough of a shit, a manager who is inept at tactics and motivation, a director of football who'd be better placed in a old folk's home that specializes in dementia patients and an owner who might as well be a mackem for all intent and purposes. Today's result was the latest in a string of blundering that is making this club a piss poor shadow of it's former self while detaching itself from the fans.

  5. The cancer causing the last two defeats there is Kinnear - three centre halves down and a utility man sold and a recruitment stopped - thanks very much, you sack of shit.

Doesn't excuse the rest of the cunts but derby defeats really fucking bug me.

And who was it that brought Kinnear in?

  6. So.......if Pardew is shit.......who next?

A foreign manager could be the answer for a team of foreigners. Or Joe Kinnear. My moneys on Joe or someone like Martin Allen.

To be fair I think it's pretty much nailed on that it'd be Joe Kinnear. I'm at the stage now where I don't care anymore, the club isn't showing any affiliation to the fans. I just feel that the whole thing should be done so we can get it out of the way - though while the Tyneside cancer that is Mike Ashley is still growing at the Toon I'd say our general prognosis is terminal one way or the other.

  7. So, it looks like it'll be Poyet replacing Di Canio, I wonder if that irks Mike Ashley at all? I got the impression that had Pardew walked Poyet would have been amongst those ex-Spurs players that he likes so much... though I suppose that was before JFK came back on the scene.

  8. Happy or not??? Really? One good result and all is okay in the world? Fuck that, I'll not be happy until that fat prick and his cronies are out of our club, happy or fucking not indeed! Truly amazing how there's NUFC fans out there that have such short memories of what this club should actually be achieving given it's size and potential.

  9. Remy is looking very good, should have made more of an effort to get him the first time round. Cissé on the other hand... if there was ever a need to shift a pile of shite off the books he's certainly making a good case for it.

  10. Because if we stumbled our way to the quarters or semis by facing non-entities the pursuit of the cup may increase in it's value to our top-floor staff.

Say we beat Leeds to face Birmingham at home, then we meet Burnley in the Quarters, suddenly we're in with a shout...

It's unlikely they'd take it seriously no matter how far we got, the potential for hampering the team's pursuit of a top 10 finish is too great through injury or suspensions. We couldn't possibly endanger Fat Mike's chance at the yearly tv money payoff.
