  1. You talk utter shite most of the time mate, 30,000+ posts of its as well. And yet you've managed to eclipse me in just 236 posts. All you seem to do is make snide remarks and slag other people off, rather than make constuctive comments If you were funny it wouldnt be so bad but clearly you are not Pathetic

  3. No we don't, its a shit attendance and it needs to be highlighted.
  4. So less than 22,000 Sunderland fans for a 5th round cup tie against Arsenal when the club are having a great run of results under a new manager. Everton had 38,000, Chelsea managed 37,000 and Norwich had almost 27,000. Shocking turnout by Sunderland, and I'm genuinely surprised at just how poor that is
  5. What was the crowd at Sunderland yesterday? I was expecting them to get close to a full house, on a great run, potentially cracking 5th round tie against Arsenal. Couldn't believe the amount of empty seats. More empties than Man City. Very poor support. The only bit that looked full was the Arsenal section, who brought a creditable 4,200.
  6. Maybe, but not sure a lot of Villa fans would agree with you
  7. I know. Fucking nonsense. Why is it fucking nonsense? Ive just said that for me results are not everything and first and foremost I want to see Newcastle play good football. Mourinho, certainly in the past (although I will bear in mind what Monroe Transfer has said about this season) has played negative, boring, physical and cynical football and thats not what I want see with Newcastle. I don't want to see Newcastle win at all costs playing football like that, I never have done and I never will, so if thats what I believe why is it fucking nonsense?
  8. Are you for real? You're not clueless about football, you've proved that in the past, so why come out with such comments? Bemusing. You do want him replaced really don't you? That's your underlying sentiment, isn't it? If we could replace him with someone better (and i mean properly better as in world class/someone with pedigree not another /ok'ish/ manager) then i'd be happy for him to go yeah but like i said we really can't, I never rated him as a manager long before he came to us, don't see why it should change now, like i said his saving grace is the fact Ba has carried our goal tally. So no i don't want him replaced unless Trapp/Hiddink etc is standing by to takeover, if he's getting replaced for McCarthy then there's no point lol least i'm not saying i wouldn't want mourhinio here @brummiemag, they've a 3goals per game average for the league so far this season you dafty, Mourhinio shuts up shop when he knows he needs to, theres a bit of a difference to that and playing negatively As I said I will have another look - but based on what I have seen in the past I wouldn't want him here. For me its not just about results and winning at all costs. I want to see Newcastle playing good football first and foremost
  9. Do you pay attention to foreign football? Like La Liga for instance, and his Real Madrid team who score goals for fun and often do it with style? You'd really say no to a man with a proven track record in 4 countries (he's won trophies in 4 leagues and is well on his way to adding a fourth different league title to that record) because he occasionally played defensively whilst Chelsea manager (winning them 5 trophies in the process)? I accept he's a winner but I've never liked his cynical approach. I never enjoyed watching his Chelsea team or his Inter Milan team and I don't remember being very impressed by Real last season. I haven't really seen them play this season so if you say things have changed and they are playing good football then maybe I shall have another look and reassess my opinion
  10. I wouldn't want Mourinho anywhere near this club with his negative, physical and cynical style of football. Not that he's likely to be interested with Ashley there
  11. I couldn't disagree more - I wouldn't change the name of St James' Park for any amount of money. I would rather play in the 4th division with the name St James' Park than strip away a part of what it means to follow Newcastle. What next for the right price, change the kit, change the name, change the location? Its all part of the same thing. I support Newcastle because I love the the area and the people and the club is an expression and a representation of that love. Its about pride and tradition. I couldn't give a fuck about most of the players, they mean nothing to me, they are here today and gone tomorrow, most of them are paid mercenaries who ply their trade to the highest bidder. What counts is the name of Newcastle United and their brilliant supporters and the name of St James' Park is part of that representation and part of the wonderful history of the club and it should never be changed. Its something that people like Ashley will never understand. Give it a good decade and every team in the PL would've had their names changed by their owners. I WOULD do the same Pipe down, Gemmill - you've got 30,000 posts more than me. Have you ever felt natural light on your skin? Couldn't care less if every other team changes their name, I wouldn't change our name for any amount of money. As it stands I'm not aware of any club at an existing ground who has changed their name - apart from York City's Bootham Crescent renamed the Kit Kat Crescent

  13. Fair play and respect to the lad who did that, apostrophe or not!
  14. Watched Mongol (2007) - Not sure how historically accurate it is but if you can put up with the sub titles its a very good film, violent, thought provoking and made realistic by the fact some of it was filmed on the Mongolian Steppe. 7.5/10
  15. No doubt we have sold and bought well this season but you don't become a top 4 club by making a net profit on transfers over a 4 year period - this is as good as it gets with Ashley and it shows a complete lack of ambition Its so fucking basic its unbelievable
  16. Hows that? Is that the same back pocket that he still holds the £35M from Carroll? Or the same back pocket that just paid £9M(ish) for Cisse? Fucking hell, I hate how you make me defend Ashley LM The same back pocket that holds the remaining £26M from Carroll and incredibly has pocketed £32M on transfers in total. And some people think that is a sign of ambition!
  17. Disgrace to ban Leazes from posting, its only a forum for christ sake, the whole point is to have opinions and arguments. I actually agree with most of what Leazes says and I think this place would be a lot less interesting without him. Like Leazes, i'm also not interested in posting about formations and making post match comments, would much rather read about and discuss issues surrounding the history of, the politics of and the longer term future of the club and in that respect Leazes has a hell of a lot to offer. Some of his less knowledgeable detractors would do well to listen, learn and think about what he is saying, his views are held by many and I think he will be proved right. I stopped going on NO because there seemed to be too many pro Ashley and unbelievably even anti Keegan posters. Hope Toontastic doesn't end up going the same way
  18. Of course an extended cup run would be beneficial - it means we are still in the cup. Why do you assume the premier league means everything? For me the cup means just as much and I would be delighted if we get to Wembley by winning every game with a replay Bloody hell have people got me wrong, here! I would love cup run. But Howay said he would hate a replay with our thin squad. What difference does a replay bloody make when an extended cup would still take a toll on the squad? It's still going to be fucking thin and the point he makes is, whilst I understand it, a bit of obvious one to make. Just wanted to clear things up and that. Fair enough, I'm just trying to make a general point that the FA Cup is really important in its own right and shouldn't be seen as a distraction to or secondary to the league

  20. Maybe this should be posted in the FA Cup thread but its another indication of the small time penny pinching attitude of Ashley. Basically we have sold our initial allocation of 2,500 tickets for Brighton (quite amazing and a demonstration of how big this club is) but we have declined an additional allocation of 800 tickets. Thats quite disgraceful from Ashley, he regularly accepts reduced allocations for away games and he is depriving a further 800 fans of getting the chance to see their club play in the FA Cup. Is this sort of penny pinching the actions of a man who has great ambitions to drive the club forward and challenge for a top 4 place?
  21. Why keep your opinion to yourself? Ive made my opinion clear. Do you think the billionairre Ashley has the ambition to realise the true potential of the club and challenge for a top 4 place? What do you think about the way he treated Keegan and renamed the ground? The man to take us forward?
  22. Well I've made my opinion clear, whats your opinion of Ashley? The man to realise our true potential?
  23. list You know who they are. We are one of the best supported clubs in Europe. Do you think the billionairre Ashley will keep our best players and invest in further quality players and try to make the next step and challenge for the top four?
  24. We are a selling club, why do all these people keep defending Ashley. Its getting nearly as bad as some of the twats on newcastle online on here! We will acheive nothing with Ashley, its about survival in the top division and make as much money as possible. He has got lucky so far, he will not build on that luck by keeping his best players and investing in further quality players to make the next step and challenge for a top 4 place. He is a still a cunt as far as im concerned. How can people still defend a person who lied to the fans, lied to kevin keegan, a living legend of this club and changed the name of our ground for tacky advertising. Disgraceful
