I do too. Im just saying Arsenal have been the most consistent team so far this year. Everytime you think City and Chelsea have gotten their act together they drop points again. That City versus Arsenal game will be massive.

Moussa Sissoko signs for Spurs for like £30m or WatEVA

Aye I've been talking about his final passes a lot lately, brilliant to see him do it so well today.- 1745 replies

Arsenal are going to run away with the title at this rate.
-
Well that was fucking brilliant! Great team performance, Debuchy and Tiote the stand outs probably. Best away result in my lifetime All of you claiming rights to starting match threads will do well to remember I started the one where we ended this 42 year win less streak

On Wednesday thankfully I had the alternative of watching it on Al Jazeera with arabic commentary, not a word of which I understood. Far more bearable.

Yup. This may sound weird to you guys of course but for me this fixture is the closest thing to a derby. Most football fans here are glory hunting ManU fans, no mackems in sight. So all the thrashings we've gotten there have been very little fun. There's not a fixture I'd like us to win more.

Really? I thought Everton were the better side overall and deserving of their victory.

He was a terrorist around the time Bin Laden was a freedom fighter wasnt he? A truly great man. Farewell, Madiba.

Bloody hell I meant in Man Utd context of course

Thats pretty much what I said too.

Just because all this fuss over starting the match thread is silly, and I havent made one in ages Anybody know if Cisse and Ben Arfa will be available for this? No Rooney, No RVP. Shite manager and shite form. If there was ever a time to finally win down there its this.

A lot of us have forgotten that if offered a top 10 finish at the start of the season we'd have happily taken it. There's still some stuff about Pardew that drives me crazy. And I've very little confidence in our coaching staff. But all in all they've done a good job so far this season. Of course the moment we get a few injuries, the wheels will come off and all the shortcomings of our squad exposed. All we can do is hope we get the sort of luck with injuries we did a couple of years back.
-
He's had to play a few different roles in some very difficult situations for us though. I think he can become a top quality premier league midfielder but he needs some work.
-
Webb needs shooting not sacking. Obertan is completely hopeless. Sammy cant be worse. Might as well let him have a go. We seem to be saying this every game but Sissoko's final ball is very often woeful. You'd be hopeful given his age he'd be able to work on it but with our coaching staff I dont know.

We lost to some average teams by pretty big margins when we finished 5th didnt we? Lets hope its an omen.
-
Just watching the Liverpool Norwich highlights. Suarez....unreal. Every single one of those goals. Brilliant. He's a prick but he's brilliant.
-
crazy game in the end that. Man City and Chelski seem to be getting their act together now. Should be an interesting 3 way title race now.
-
2 now with Spurs winning but yeah not the end of the world. Days like this are always to be expected when you follow Newcastle.
-
The run was always going to come to an end, I had just hoped it would be due to the other team playing really well rather than us being completely crap. We played a more tired, injury decimated team who had the second worst home record in the league (according to the commentator anyway) at the start of the game. And got well beaten. Disappointing.

I just never think anything good will ever happen to us at Old Trafford. 40 years of history on my side
-
Who was going on about Shelvey being rubbish earlier? Absolute rubbish. And Manu losing at home, so its going to be 4 or 5 past us on Saturday.
-
Sleepy, disinterested feel about the whole game. We seem to be lacking energy. Hardly surprising this but it doesnt feel great nonetheless.
-
FFS. Well this was coming. What a shitty day. We never come back from behind anyway do we.
-
He's been pretty decent since moving there to be honest.

We beat them there with the same tactics season before the last. You can see what Pardew is trying to do. But I kinda agree with you. They offered no real threat up to that goal, we could have taken the game to them. Interesting to see how we setup for the second half now. Change of tactics is required. Gouffran has been pretty average so far.
