  1. Chuffed for Miley. That was a much needed goal. Great to see Wissa scoring too and once again we can hope the result helps the team's confidence. Concerned about Hall and Tino though, hopefully nothing serious on the injury front.
  2. In that case they'll do well to remember we won our first trophy in seven decades and qualified for the CL again the following season.
  3. The creativity that went into naming that podcast btw, about the same level of effort Bruce put in here and that's about as much as I'll have to do with that link.
  4. My fear is we're in a busy period and one injury away to any of our back 4 really from Lascelles having to start again. Per Eddie now, no clear return date for Botman and Trippier and Krafth still a couple of weeks away. Thus the talk of recalling Targett I suppose (I'd rather start academy lads tbh)
  5. Not the way anyone wanted him to get the rest he needed but it is what it is. I hope bloody Botman is not out for months again because I'm not sure Lascelles will be ready for CL football this time.
  6. So despite all our our issues, and I agree with a lot of what has been said on here - the exec shit show, the attempt to change playing style, the piss poor show from some of our expensive summer signings, the drop off in levels of some of our top players etc etc - the nature of the league and inconsistency many teams are showing means we are still 4 points off 5th place. A half decent run can still propel you right up the table and things quickly start looking very different again. I just don't know what Howe tweaks this time to achieve that. Nothing seems to be working because at the end of the day individual levels have been largely terrible this season and the players do need to step up. I don't think Howe is blameless, I think he's tried to navigate a difficult summer and do the best with this squad given our CL commitments but it has not worked. We've been terrible to watch for a while now as well and eventually that catches up to a manager. But I find it hard to blame him for some of the absolute individual dross we've seen lately from mind bogglingly stupid goals conceded to the likes of Elanga, Joelinto, Gordon and Willock not being able to make 5 yard sideway passes.
  7. Just ignoring this beatle wanker from now on. There's no doubt serious introspection is needed. We've managed to scrap by some results but on the whole since the cup final we've largely been poor. We've become a struggling, laboring side that's lost identity and energy. Individual errors have become common and all the shithousery ,our spark, is gone.
  8. The sideways passing at the end just did my head in Oh well we had a great season last time around this one's just going to be a bit shite, that's the way to go about this for now I reckon
  9. You can talk about tactics and how poor we've been but the biggest concern for me is how half arsed we've looked this season. No fight, no energy, no clue. If this is what we put up in a derby then serious introspection is needed.
  10. And that's how the whistle goes Unbelievable from us this tbh. A scandalous own goal as well. Just pathetic all around
  11. Our players can fuck off with this crap now btw, I couldnt give a shite. Been half arsed the whole game and now pretending it matters. Fuck off
  12. We've been playing this way for much of the season, especially away from home. I dont think its just fatigue
  13. I think this question was asked regularly when LTA was here but is there a way to mute a cunt in particular??
  14. I couldn't beleive my eyes honestly, right up there with the worst own goals I can remember. The amount of soft shite goals we've conceded recently as well.
