1. My knee injury has returned annoyingly, but never fear it won't affect my performance at all as i was already going to be incapble of actually moving thanks to years of reducing my fitness to levels even Gemmill might be ashamed of! And yes, before anyone says it i am getting my excuses in early
2. I've googled it: Tracklist: 1. Burning Heart - Survivor 2. Heart's On Fire - John Cafferty 3. Double Or Nothing - Kenny Loggins & Gladys Knight 4. Eye Of The Tiger - Survivor 5. Training Montage - Vince DiCola 6. War - Vince DiCola 7. Living In America - James Brown 8. No Easy Way Out - Robert Tepper 9. One Way Street - Go West 10. The Sweetest Victory - Touch 11. Training Montage - Vince DiCola Thats the one!
3. Rocky 3 is where its at! Mr T as Clubber Laing, Eye of the tiger, wrestling with Hulk Hogan, Rocky being trained by Appollo Creed and their fight at the end, what more do you want!!! 158596 Too fricking right !!! not forgetting the cheesey Eye of the tiger track too !! 158598 As if i would! Say what you like about the Rocky Movies but the music suited them perfectly, whether it be training montages or winning at the end music! Peaking with Rocky 4 training music i think, which amusingly was the music the teams came out to in one of the smogs away matches in europe! 158604 100% dude, that "hearts on fire" track from Rocky 4 had me leaping from my chair and into the back yard for 4 press ups every time ! 158606 When do they use "hearts on fire" i was thinking of the "training music" that has no lyrics, used when he's out in the snow training in Russia etc. 158610 Hearts on fire is the track they use for when Rocky was in his Russian training camp. 158611 Theres definitely a different one just called Training Music or something like that, not a song like Hearts on fire!

5. The thing this series shows though, is that it works. Even though they only have them for a short while instead of say 2 years and even though they can't do things exactly as they'd like and theirs cameras there, in the end they sort some of them out and last series turned some of them round and had them wanting a career in the army. But heaven forbid we could send convicted offenders and various other juvenile fuckwitts into the army to get some actual discilpline, guidance and leadership (plus father figures which many of them lack) because it would be against their human rights. It isn't fair to have national service for all, thats not right, but for these types it would in many cases help them (and thus society) and in the cases it didn' work, well they've been out of our hair for 2 years and and thats 2 years less of them fucking other peoples lives up.

8. And can we insist on no photos whatsoever of this being taken! 158326 No chance ! 158327 Surely even you couldn't knock one out over those photos!!!

10. It could be Lou herself to be fair
11. I don't think so, the feature was suggesting that it had become a trend in interviews to piss off the English Journo's, both Barthez and Lippi speak fluent English, Lippi even invited questions in French but not English. 158079 Lippi claimed recently that he could barely speak a word of English though he could have just been saying that to distance himself from the speculation linking himself with the Man U job. 158182 maybe so, but during the clip I saw he took great delight in saying in perfect english "no english questions, only Italian or even French, but no English". Its not about not speaking English, its about knowing full well that the English journalists can't speak anything else ! 158200 I hope he can speak good English and that he and others were just doing it to piss off the complete cockends who make up the English press. I know if i was there i'd refuse to answer questions in English and thats if i was there as an England player
12. Thats one big pair of puppies 158301 She also had a big pair of balls to bluff her way through that final round! But yes, truly impressive pair of breasts, which probably distracted the bloke from thinking straight!
13. Be interesting to know how much Ant n Dec will make from this programme as its basically their own idea which must mean they get a hell of alot of money from it, rather than being presenters of somebody elses creation.
14. I think Italy will probably be the better team but France will win it.
15. 12-1 for the footy is fine with me, and i'll be throwing up due to having to run around with such an appaling lack of fitness at about 12:05!!!
16. I think we'll yet again see Shola struggle with this almost permanent hip injury which our club don't seem able to get sorted out! So how many games he plays and how many games he's fully fit for will be anyones guess!!! If he plays a good number of games i think he'll get into double figures, but really i'd hope we've signed 2 strikers who are good enough that Ameobi doesn't get many games because he's not first choice.
17. I think Terry would be the sort to step up, so he'd be a good shout. And as you say Owen, Rooney and Beckham would have been among the penalty takers.
18. The important thing is that the cheating bastards from Portugal, who spent all of this game diving as well have been knocked out! The ref was so close to being excellent, he ignored all their cheating antics and gave them fuck all but then spoiled his good work by never booking them for some disgrceful diving. Big Phil whinging at the ref at full time,s erves the cheating bastard right, tough shit!
19. Players have mentioned in interviews that they had praticed pens more than any England team has ever done and they based to choice of Lampard first as he was easilly the best followed by Carragher (which was why he came on as sub) and that they were suprememly confident of winning on pens. And everyone saw what happene which is why i said before the world cup that praticing kicking a ball from 12 yards for proffesional footballers woudl do little or no good at all when it has nothign in common with a place in the semis of a world cup at stake with a full stadium, millions at home counting on you and you have to handle that pressure. All of your 5 chosen can take a penaly, they're international footballers and of the team they are the best, practice or not they are capable of hitting a goal from that distance. What counts is how you handle the situation and we like a few other teams just never do, whereas the Germans and apprently the Portugese handle it well (or have a keeper adept at saving them!) We spent ages practicing like never before and what did we get, 1 single, solitary penalty scored, it did no good whatsoever because it comes down to the situation and we made a mess of it again. The Germans just seem to have the perfect combination of confidence/arrogance/self belief, cool, calm detached emotions and almost robotic ability to hit that target under imense pressure.
20. There was something in the chronicle saying that, but i haven't heard anything since. There wasn't any direct quotes from Shearer himself so for now we'll give him the benfit of the doubt but he really should be bigger than to be bothered by something like that!
21. 156276 I loved the fact the bloke in question (some sort of mad uncle or grandad) was laughing away but when they cut to the family their faces said he's be getting a kicking when they got home!
22. Most people tend to keep those rules i've got used to that, but the way we played took out all the arguing and stopping the game and left football with all of its components in, and there's a reason why its the best sport in the world, especially if you leave it alone. I've always liked scoring goals by actually tricking or going round a keeper in the box or when in goal being able to come out the box and pick passes off or maybe risk going past an attacker (this ws all back in the days when i could play of course!) Anyway we found it a much better game when played as football is suposed to be played, but i'll play whatever rules the majority want!
23. Speak for yourself tbh. Are you playing head height rules btw? That's the main reason I hate 5-a-side. I like a good Titus Bramble punt downfield from time to time. 156154 I've never liked any of the 5-a-side rules and for years me and my mates played football with none of them and it was so much better and didn't require the game to be stopped continually as people argue over how high it was kicked, whether somebody was in the box when they scored or whether the keeper had come out the box etc. We played fouls and handballs as in normal footy and you could kick it as high as you want (thus bringing heading, volleying, chipping and lobbing back into the game) and you could go in the box and the keeper could come out the box as in normal footy meaning people in goal didn't get bored with havign fuck all to do. And the keepers could kick the ball out not have to bowl it out under arm! Basically 11-a-side rules on a 5-a-side ptich, footy as its meant to be played and much more fun! Anyway since you're all desperate and despite the absolute disgrace i will be and a knee injury i mentioned to Ritchie (i'm like an old bloke these days!) i will play.
24. I can't imagine why anyone wouldn't want to sign RVN if we had 4 strikers never mind having pretty much none at the moment! But we won't have the money and there will be bigger European clubs who will be ahead of us in the queue.
25. Of course no other countries would ever do that would they, could only be the English No whinging from the italians when korea knocked them out or a korean player being sacked by his italian club side. The spanish didn't complain about Henry getting the freekick that knocked them out. USA fans and aussie fans/teams never mentioned referees at all after their exits. I could go on, but the fact is all coubntries complain when they're knocked out, sometimes its their own fault, sometimes they genuinely have been shafted by a ref/linesman or opposition player/players, thats football. People who always say it's your own fault and you can never blame anyone else are just as stupid and naive as those who alwasy blame somebody else for their exit. And anyway without England to bang on about how empty, dull and pointless would somebody like Sima's life be, with No England he'd probably cease to exist. As for this England exit its obvious where the blame lies. Rooney for the sending off as with 11 we may have won the match (though we'll never know) Sven for piss poor managemtn, tactics, squad selection, lack of motivation and anything else you'd care to name And some of the players who underperformed, eg. Lampard picked the worst time possible to have the worst run of form of his career! And its more annoying because the 4 semi finalists remaining are all mediocre at best and the world cup was there for the taking as any one of them is beatable.
