how? I am on 4th season, looked in the Man Utd reserves and seen Nani listed for loan, put a 5m bid in (his value) and they decided to negotiate and put it up to 8.25m, made a bid and got him, but he wont accept a contract until he got what he asked for (16k) appearance fee. Hargreaves had been whining all season long for not getting enough games, so i put a 6.75 bid in and they accepted, deal went all well, they should be with me for January and its December the 15th now Edit: Fuck sake me computer restarted and the game crashed, iv got Nani but i cant fucking sign Hargreaves anymore, fucking wankkkk!!!

Joey Barton insists he does not expect to be thrust into Newcastle United's starting XI after his return to full fitness. The abrasive midfielder finally made his Magpies bow after suffering a metatarsal injury in pre-season when he came on for the final 19 minutes of Monday night's 3-1 Premier League victory over Tottenham Hotspur. But Barton, signed for £5.8million from Manchester City in the summer, accepts that with the Magpies having enjoyed back-to-back victories he will have no complaints if manager Sam Allardyce elects to stick with a winning formula. Saturday's trip to Reading is next on the agenda for the Toon Army and Barton would prefer to see the team claim all three points over his own personal ambitions. He told Sky Sports News: "Obviously, it's a winning side and it's going to be tough to get into a winning side. "I think it's important that we keep winning. It's not about Joey Barton, it's about Newcastle United Football Club, and if I have to bide my time for four, five, six games and the team is winning, then so be it. "I won't be frustrated, I'll sit there and wait for the opportunity, and if the team goes unbeaten all season, then I'll be very unlucky! I'll just have to take it on the chin. "Football these days is a squad game and I'm part of a squad here. "It's very important for me to be part of a successful squad and if that means me sitting on the bench when the team's winning, then so be it."

Under-fire Tottenham Hotspur manager Martin Jol would be "better off without" Dimitar Berbatov, according to Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp. The Bulgarian striker made a big impact in his debut season at White Hart Lane last season, scoring 23 goals. But Spurs' poor start to the new campaign has left Jol on the brink of unemployment and, Redknapp says, brought out the worst in Berbatov. The former Bayer Leverkusen striker appeared reluctant to come on as a substitute in the Londoners' 3-1 defeat at Newcastle United on Monday, and Redknapp is clear in his stance. "The very last thing Martin Jol needs right now is Dimitar Berbatov spitting his dummy out because he's not in Tottenham's starting team every week," Redknapp said in his column in the Sun. "You only find out the true character of your players when the chips are down and the pressure is on. "And we all saw what Berbatov is made of when he was sat sulking on the bench at Newcastle the other night with a face like a big baby. "Everyone knows what a terrific player the Bulgarian can be. But he's not the striker he was a year ago and, from what I've seen, he looks to be disinterested and playing for himself rather than his team. "His attitude is terrible and his behaviour at St James' Park sent out all the wrong signals." The 26-year-old front man had been linked with a move to Old Trafford over the summer, but Redknapp believes Berbatov has blown any chance of a transfer to the champions now. "Maybe he's sulking because he didn't get a move to Manchester United in the summer," Redknapp added. "But he's done himself absolutely no favours on that account because I know for a fact Alex Ferguson would never stand for any player who behaves the way Berbatov has done this week. "When your team is in trouble you need the big characters to stand up. "That's just what Robbie Keane has done for Spurs and Berbatov should show the same attitude. I have always believed that when you lose a player's support you get him out as quickly as possible. "No matter how good, you're better off without him." Spurs play Getafe in the Uefa Cup on Thursday evening and it will be interesting to see if Jol heeds Redknapp's words.

Not unlucky to be dropped at all, its in the best interest of the club, they should be happy about that (not about getting dropped) but about us doing so well. Faye and Cacapa have been class along side each other.

ENGLAND Under-21 captain Steven Taylor says that he and his team-mates will use the success of the country's rugby heroes as inspiration when they face Republic of Ireland on Tuesday. The young Three Lions watched on Saturday as England battled their way to the World Cup final in a tense victory over host nation France. And Magpies defender Tayls is hoping to use that performance as motivation for their clash with the Irish as they look to extend their 100 per cent start to the Euro qualifying campaign. "It was an inspirational performance watching the rugby lads," he said. "Even the lads who don't like rugby were watching it. It inspired the players when we saw the national anthems. "When you put on the shirt you know how much it means." And Taylor says that he is growing into his role as England skipper after being handed the armband by Stuart Pearce during the summer. "It's a massive honour. I've been lucky enough to work closely with three great England captains and learn from them all," he added. "It's made me realise that the job's not just about what happens on the pitch, but also what I do off it - and I like to try and lead by example. "I'll demand what's best for the team and our country."
