  1. FFS!!!! Fucking fat Sam needs to change the fucking formation, Zoggy cant play at LB fucking hell man. 4/5 times in this second half we have had no one at LB and SWP just fucking runs down and gets the cross, we are gonna get punished for this if he doesnt change it. SWP has also had 2 headers at the back post with Zoggy no were to be seen.

  3. Get In !!! Any 1 hear what they were singing just before Butt scored: "Your worse than Sunderland, Your worse than Sunderland"
  4. Given doing a good job of keeping them out on both of those, specially the Mikel shot.
  5. Awful defending by us, first by Milner and then Taylor and then Cacapa just watched Essien put the ball in the back on the net. defense needs shot.
  6. some good goals, but tbh he's not gonna get that much time and space in the Premiership.
  7. David Rozehnal believes Newcastle can show their 'true character' and still qualify for Europe this season. The Magpies have endured a disappointing campaign and they currently sit 11th in the Premier League after suffering seven top flight defeats. Newcastle's poor form has heaped pressure on manager Sam Allardyce, but Rozehnal does not believe that it has been all doom and gloom at St James' Park this season. "I would not say that we are on a bad run," the Czech defender told Sport. "We are among the average. "But of course, with the objective we set of finishing in the top six, we want to be higher. I would like to finish in the top six. "The Premier League is a tough competition. We had a good start and then something changed and we played a couple of bad games." And Rozehnal is targeting Newcastle's forthcoming games against champions Manchester United and Chelsea as the ideal place to improve results. Newcastle travel to Chelsea on Saturday before playing United at Old Trafford on 12th January and Rozehnal is hoping for positive performances. "We play Manchester United and Chelsea soon and that is where the true character of the team will be shown," added Rozehnal. "We are not far from sixth place, it is still realistic and I hope we will get into Europe for next season." If we don't get rid of fat sam and his stupid tactics soon, then this will only be a dream.
  8. ..... Sorry if the title fooled you a bit but, I just can't wait for the day I see that headline on the official toon site.
  9. personally I don't want newcastle to be the first club he manages, he is obviously inexperienced and wouldn't know how to handle the pressure from the fans. He is a local and national hero so if things started going wrong he might turn into a villain.
  10. Hes shit needs to fuck. No one can say that he didn't do a great job with Bolton, but it took him 8 years and we just don't have that kind of time, therefore he needs to finish of the last of his Christmas puddings and fuck off.

  12. Arsene Wenger has advised new England boss Fabio Capello to call on goalkeeper Manuel Almunia. The Arsenal shot-stopper has previously outlined his keenness to represent England, and he has now received the backing of Arsenal manager Wenger. The Spaniard will be eligible to play for England through residency rules next year, and his boss' support follows an excellent penalty save in Saturday's north London derby success. Almunia, who joined The Gunners from Celta Vigo in 2004, has made 22 appearances so far this season after some impressive displays which have forced Jens Lehmann to occupy the substitutes' bench. Experience And with the England No.1 jersey currently up for grabs, Wenger believes Capello should take advantage of Almunia's emergence as a reliable keeper. "I could only advise you to take advantage of it and call him up for the England squad," he said in The Sun. "Almunia came here without a CV so he had to make a name with his performances. It was not easy because he had to get experience at a big club. "I knew he was good but how could he be Arsenal's keeper? Only by playing. He had never played for a big club before and made some mistakes, but he has gained confidence and calmness. He is a good keeper. Under pressure "Everyone makes mistakes. (Manchester United boss) Van der Sar makes mistakes. "But it was more difficult for Almunia because he was already under pressure from an outstanding goalkeeper (Lehmann) behind him. "That was a tough test. If you play bad games, you are under pressure immediately." From SSN: http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_3003528,00.html So can he play for England?
  13. Going of topic again, but: Smith has been looking decent for past few games. Needs people around him who can actually create a goal. Martins just needs time to find form. The wankers that keep criticizing him need to fuck off. Barton has really been a waste of space and money.
  14. Sam Allardyce has yet to decide who to make Newcastle captain when Geremi leaves for the African Cup of Nations. Allardyce gave Geremi the armband following his summer move from Chelsea but the Cameroon international could be missing for more than a month early in the New Year. The Magpies manager now has to look for a temporary replacement but he admits it will not be easy to choose. He said: "I have had a lot of difficult decisions to make since I came to St James' Park, but I have to say deciding on just who was going to be my captain was probably one of the most difficult - and now I will have to decide again. "Obviously we are losing Geremi at the turn of the year and I will give a lot of thought as to who will replace him as captain of Newcastle United." Shay Given and Michael Owen have done the job in the past but Allardyce may also consider the likes of Nicky Butt, Alan Smith, Steven Taylor and Joey Barton.
  15. Manchester United's Jonny Evans has been released on police bail after being quizzed over the alleged rape of a woman at the club's Christmas party. The 19-year-old international was arrested yesterday following the party at the exclusive Great John Street Hotel in Manchester. He has been bailed until February 23 pending further inquiries. Police were called to the hotel shortly after 4am after receiving a report that a 26-year-old woman had been raped. A Greater Manchester Police spokeswoman said the man was arrested on suspicion of rape later that day after voluntarily presenting himself for questioning. "We did have an event on Monday night. We're helping the police with an investigation," a hotel spokeswoman said. Evans, a defender, spent last season on loan at Sunderland. He has played for Northern Ireland eight times but has not got a regular place in Manchester United's first team. Sky's north of England correspondent Tom Parmenter said: "The entire first-team squad, apart from Cristiano Ronaldo, had been out around town celebrating their annual Christmas party. "It started on Monday lunchtime at a nearby casino where they were entertained by burlesque dancers. "They then moved on to the Old Grapes pub which is owned by Liz Dawn, the Coronation Street actor." A number of players then ended up at the Great John Street Hotel. The hotel is a boutique "town house" converted from a Victorian schoolhouse in the upmarket Castlefield area of Manchester. Several allegations of rape have emerged from parties involving Premiership stars over the last few years. But none have led to a conviction. Ian Dovaston, Sky's sports news correspondent, said football managers dreaded the party season because their players are targets. "Managers are pretty cool about these kind of parties, they know their footballers are potential targets - they are young people who earn a lot of money and get a lot of attention. "We have seen that so many times in the past. "The players know that Sir Alex Ferguson is not a great supporter of these big groups getting together - but there is a compromise to be found at Christmas."
