  9. I understand Toon will listen to offers for Kieron Dyer, Scott Parker, Emre and Oba Martins — and that could generate a further £25m to invest. Why Oba ...i dont want emre to go think hes gonna b important next season and well sidwell is of to chelsea so i would keep parker...not to botherd bout dyer tbh
  10. I'd take both of them. Get rid of Emre and Duff. wouldn't do such a thing...emre is a decent player and i would atleast give duff anotha season
  11. Signed last season for £2.5m, probably cost us about £10m now. come to us for 10m and get injured then we end up selling him again for 2.5m

  16. Sven Goran Eriksson's agent has confirmed his client's interest in the managerial vacancy at Newcastle, but Gerard Houllier is not in the running - contrary to earlier reports. Eriksson's representative Athole Still claims the former England manager would be available were Magpies chairman Freddy Shepherd to make an approach. However Still stressed that there had been no contact as yet between the two parties. Still told Sky Sports News: "Have we been in discussions with Newcastle? No. "However I was asked, would he be interested. Newcastle is a huge club, with a wonderful stadium and fantastic fans so naturally if a club like that made an approach to Sven then clearly he would be interested in talking to them but nothing has happened." Former Bolton boss Sam Allardyce has been linked strongly with the post made vacant following Glenn Roeder's resignation on Monday. And Still added: "I happen to be a very good friend of Sam Allardyce and Sam seems to be, as they say, nailed on for the job, the bookies have stopped taking bets and the last thing I would want to appear to be is undermining Sam taking the job if indeed that is something that has already been decided." Former Liverpool boss Houllier, now in charge of French champions Lyon, was believed to be in the running to succeed Roeder, but the Frenchman has told Sky Sports News that he is not interested in the job. Only Sven it seems

  18. isnt allerdyce a mackam ?...if yes then y did he turn down sunderland
  19. Eh? Well he's walked hasn't he? before he took over at bolton they were known as a relegation scrambler team and now look what hes done with them now got them into europe and just because the man is looking for a new challange doesnt necessarily mean "hes walked out". if we dont get the right man for the job this time we are going to be known as the next leeds united. So he has no appetite to take a club he knows inside out to the next level, yet somehow he would want to come in and change NUFC from top to bottom? It's taken him 15 years to realise he needs a new challenge? Coincidentally when the club reaches its highest level. That is not the mark of a man who likes challenges in life. He's the new Curbishley. And this is nothing like Leeds i would be happy if we get into europe again even if sam walks out as long as he gets us in the CL because after sir bobby no one has been abel to do any good with this club
