  1. You have got Etuhu he's fucking shit and should be shot, he must of had 3 or 4 touches on Saturday and they were fucking awful.
  2. Milan star Kaka says he could be forced to quit Italian football if the violence continues. There have been several instances of hooliganism in recent times, and the problems reached a peak at the weekend after Italian police shot a Lazio fan dead. Kaka, who has been repeatedly linked with a move to Real Madrid, has already spoken of his concerns that the violence could deter top players from moving to Serie A, and has now suggested it could lead him to leave Milan to protect his family. "Could I leave Italy? Yes, if the episodes of violence continue," he told Gazzetta dello Sport. "The football I love is happiness. At this time, I can't enjoy myself. Should there be big problems that would prevent me doing my job in an adequate way, anything could happen. "There is the possibility of going to another country. "I'm also worried for my family's safety. My wife and parents frequently come to the stadium. How can you be tranquil in this way?" Don't blame the guy tbh, all the violence in Italy has really put a cross on Italian football
  3. Joey Barton insists there was 'no malice' in his challenge on Dickson Etuhu after escaping disciplinary action. The Football Association has confirmed the Newcastle United midfielder will not be punished following his tangle with Sunderland's Etuhu on Saturday. Barton caught the Black Cats midfielder with a high tackle and there were reports the England cap would be hit with a three-game suspension. But, after learning he will face no further action, Barton offered an apology to Etuhu and feels the incident was a result of rustiness following his recent injury lay-off. "There was no malice in it, nor was it premeditated," Barton told Sky Sports News. "If I caused him any injury, then I apologise. "Things happen in the heat of a derby game. "It was my third game back and I'm still a bit rusty. If I was fully match fit the situation would have been avoided."
  4. Newcastle are holding talks with Middlesbrough goalkeeping coach Paul Barron. Barron has been given permission by the Teesside club to meet with The Magpies and is expected to make the move and join Sam Allardyce's coaching staff. Barron has been with Boro since 2001 when Steve McClaren lured him from Aston Villa. Now the former Plymouth, Arsenal, Crystal Palace, West Brom and Queens Park Rangers shot-stopper is leaving. Barron will follow former Middlesbrough men Mark Viduka and Steve Round up the A19 - after they both linked up with Newcastle in the summer. Boro's academy goalkeeping coach, Stephen Pears, is currently standing in for Barron.
  5. The Football Association will await the referee's report before deciding whether to take any action against Joey Barton. The Newcastle United midfielder caught Dickson Etuhu with his studs during the 1-1 draw with Sunderland on Saturday. Match official Martin Atkinson did not see the incident, while Magpies boss Sam Allardyce feels Barton's reputation is why the challenge has been highlighted. The England cap's clash with Etuhu will now be examined by the FA, once Atkinson's report on the game has been received. An FA spokesman said: "We will be looking to clarify with the referee whether he saw the incident or not. "If not we will review the incident." If the FA does step in to the matter, then Barton could be charged with violent conduct, which would result in a three-match ban if found guilty.
  6. .....We haven't lost to the Mackams away from home for 27 years, 12 games in total: 2007/08: 1-1 Milner 2005/06: 4-1 Chopra, Shearer(pen), N'Zogbia, Luque 2002/03: 1-0 Solano 2001/02: 1-0 Dabizas 2000/01: 1-1 Andy O'Brien 1999/00: 2-2 Domi, Helder 1996/97: 2-1 Beardsley, Ferdinand 1992/93: 2-1 Liam O'Brien, og 1991/92: 1-1 Liam O'Brien 1989/90: 0-0 (play-offs) 1989/90: 0-0 1984/85: 0-0
  7. Etuhu played class today like, if they had a few more like him the result might have been different
  8. Wayne Rooney is facing four weeks on the sidelines after suffering an ankle injury in training. The Manchester United striker will now miss England's final Euro 2008 qualifier against Croatia at Wembley on 21st November. A club spokesman said: "Wayne Rooney picked up an ankle injury in training and will be out for about four weeks." The 22-year-old has been in superb form recently, forming an impressive partnership with Carlos Tevez, and was named the Barclays Player of the Month for October. England boss Steve McClaren will now have to re-think his striking options against Croatia and the preceeding friendly with Austria with Peter Crouch and Jermain Defoe in contention to partner Michael Owen. McClaren said: "It is hugely disappointing for us and him. "Given the form he has been in and the contribution he has made to England over the last two games means it is a blow. "But we have to deal with it, like we have dealt with situations like these before. "It is an opportunity for someone else to come and do a job." Rooney will miss Sunday's clash with Blackburn at Old Trafford and the forthcoming Premier League fixtures against Bolton, Fulham and Derby. The star striker will also miss the UEFA Champions League clash with Sporting Lisbon, but could return against Roma on 12th December. But with Sir Alex Ferguson's side already through to the last 16, Rooney is unlikely to be rushed back into action.
  9. Iv got him on Football Manager would be lovely if he came here in real life
  10. Kenwyne Jones mate, he plays for Sunderland. At last you actually know a football player
  11. Sam Allardyce has been boosted by the news that Mark Viduka will be fit to play against Sunderland this weekend. The Australian has not played for Newcastle since suffering a calf injury in the 3-1 defeat to Manchester City in late September. But he is back in training and will come into contention for a place in the team for the Tyne-Wear derby. "Mark has trained this week and is available for selection this weekend," Allardyce told the club's official website. Although Viduka has been out for six weeks, Allardyce will be keen to welcome back the player who was his first signing as Magpies manager. Viduka has so far scored three goals in six appearances for Newcastle since joining from Middlesbrough in the summer. From SSN
  12. You have been watching a different player if your even thinking about he can't beat people. Hes great on the ball, he can beat people and has a great cross on him.
  13. Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer has hinted his first job in club management may not be with his beloved Magpies. Many feel the Premier League's highest scorer is destined to manage the North East giants, and sooner rather than later as well. However, Sam Allardyce replaced Glenn Roeder back in May and Shearer hopes the former Bolton man has a long and successful tenure at St James' Park. With Shearer hoping Allardyce succeeds at Newcastle, he has hinted he may need to garner experience elsewhere before accepting the Magpies post. "I can't stop people talking in that manner, although I've never encouraged it," Shearer told the Daily Express on being a Newcastle manager in waiting. "I understand why it's said - it's because of my connection with Newcastle. I love the football club. "I think I will manage at some stage of my life. But it is not Newcastle or nothing for me. "Sam Allardyce could be there for 10 years. I hope he is because that would mean he had been successful. "But I am confident in saying that one day I will give it a go."
  14. Should be nowhere near the club. Did very little for NUFC and has shown the region up. This is presumably some kind of sanctimonious wind-up? Granted the man has issues, but he is the most talented England player since god knows when. When he left Newcastle, we were an utter shambles, there is no way he should have stayed with us at that time. As for showing the region up, he may not have made the most of his talent but I for one feel he did the region proud when he was at his best during Italia 90 and Euro 96. Can't argue with Billy, hes spot on

  20. Paul Gascoigne has revealed he is training with Newcastle's youth Academy as part of his bid to beat alcohol addiction. In an exclusive interview with Sky Sports News, the former Newcastle and England star explained how he is keeping fit by playing with the club's youngsters and was full of praise for the impact Sam Allardyce has had at St James' Park. He said: "I've been going and training with the Academy and I've really enjoyed it. I've done my own gym work, but it's nice to kick the ball about. That's what I love doing. "I still wish I could put my boots on now and again, but I think the old bones and all the injuries are starting to take their toll. "I think Sam Allardyce did great at Bolton for what he had and he's brought some good staff with him. "He's making changes at Newcastle and I know that he's put top-class equipment in for the guys and he's definitely going to be given money." However, Gazza is less impressed with England's efforts to qualify for Euro 2008 and reckons the team were made to pay for defending too deep in the 2-1 defeat to Russia earlier this month. "I can't understand how we're in the position that we are and I'm sure the lads were really, really disappointed with that result against Russia," he added. "If you keep defending for so long, then the other team are definitely going to create chances and that's what happened. I could see it coming. "If they keep defending in their own 18-yard box then teams like Russia can destroy you." But Gascoigne is not sure whether Steve McClaren should be forced to step down as England boss if the team fails to qualify because he has built a strong camaraderie within the squad. He said: "I remember watching England train when Sven-Goran Eriksson was manager and Steve McClaren took the training session and looked comfortable around them. "The players seem to like him and he won't walk away from the job. I think he loves the job."
