I travel to a Muslim area in Australia often, in Auburn. They are moderates, those who I deal with. They hate what is going on. The problem is everything is unregulated. You regulate Islamic schools, and mosques and you are heading toward a positive direction.

An alternative please. Seriously, is there one?

It is because Islamic fundamentalism shows now mercy.

You do know what you are dealing with right? Your country is weak and allowed for this. It has built up over many years now and the problem has become "homegrown" so-to-speak. Generations will be affected. I don't think Higgins wants all Muslims dead. Just those who wish to cause harm.

Bit of a disadvantage that isn't it? Maybe if he had a gun...

Do what exactly? What do you do when people with radical views decide that they want to make a statement by driving into crowds or walk the streets and slit the throats of people? Or set off bombs strapped to them? Political views aside, radicalism has infiltrated into Western democracy and the seeds sewn and it is here to stay. There is nothing you or I can do anything about it. Most attacks in the name of radical Islam will thankfully be prevented, but some won't. That is just the day and age that we live in.

You should never cooperate and compromise with those who think they are superior to you based on religious grounds and to those who put religious beliefs over the law of the land. To believe that that is an option on the table is absurd.

Fremantle??? Couldn't get a more whiter community/city, disregarding Hobart and the greater part of Tasmania. Western Australia is primarily white apart from Broome where Japanese, Indonesians and Aboriginals have intermingled over generations. Queensland is largely white too on the eastern side. Sydney and Melbourne are the hub of multiculturalism in Australia.

Wahhabism and its spinoffs are the primary problem of course. But Trump signed off on a $100 Billion arms deal to counter Iran and Yemen. $100 Billion of arms. That is equivalent to the defence spending of the UK or Japan over 2 years. If it weren't true you would laugh and think it were crazy. Well, no, I'll laugh cynically anyway as you do. Internally though, locally born jihadists are born and brainwashed.

We as a 'civilised' society do need to find ways to counter these problems which will snowball in generations to come. That is a reality. Being proactive on the problem which is taboo to many will be a hurdle along with solutions. I don't have the answer, and I haven't seen, apart from bans and internment caps, any worthy directions to head towards. Damage is done, and the seeds sewn.

You obviously got a bit lost there. My point was Muslims kill more Muslims than any other denomination.

Muslims kill each other more than anyone else man. Tribes and all that.

Australia already does this, and so too now, as you have mentioned, the Netherlands.

We are talking about the sickest of people trying to incite the most illicit of hatred along with the terror. Truly sad times.

How do you know that this concert was not purposefully selected for the demography that was in attendance?
  19. What exactly can China do? They have turned back deliveries for North Korea's coal and apart from completely cutting off all business ties with them it is too late for China to have any influence which would convince the Norks to sign up to a non-proliferation treaty. Sanctions only make their development efforts more expensive to continue but won't stop it completely. China's influence is completely overstated.
  20. Yup. Back in the mid 1990's when Clinton instead offered the Norks 2 light water reactors to trade in their plutonium after they refused inspections by the IAEA which the Norks knocked back in the end. If that wasn't enough of an alert for a future flashpoint then Pakistan gave the Norks nuclear technology in the latter part of the 1990's which has allowed them to develop low yield nukes as they have now. They may not have the cutting edge delivery systems yet but crazy gangsters who feel like they are being cornered will find a way to deliver them (one way suicide trips via submarine or plane or saturated missile launches).
  21. NK do not require nukes to destroy Seoul. They have 10 000 artillery pieces aimed at SK's capital which would do the job.
  22. China preparing for something to go down. Reported by a South Korean news agency that China has amassed 150,000 troops on its border with NK. Millions of North Koreans will look to cross the border into China if the shit hits the fan - and that is something China does not want. Syria's mass refugee exodus would pale into insignificance.
  23. Australia put on missile watch. Looks like the US are planning to shoot down test missiles by Kimmy. Expect something to happen in 4 days...
  24. NK is the genuine concern right now. Kimmy is feeling the pinch and having this carrier group in its backyard could trigger the nutter to respond. Trump's objectives are clear here, he won't allow Kimmy and his cronies to continue on their nuclear deterrence program so something will have to give either way.
  25. Won't happen. Putin is talking tough to maintain his reputation. The US will not invade as Russia is well embedded in Syria with her bases and port of call and Putin will never give them up. What should happen is that the focal point remain on destroying ISIS and Trump and Putin should agree on the removal of Assad after ISIS is destroyed allowing Syria to remain Russia's strategic asset after he is deposed. The fact no Russian assets or servicemen died in that surgical strike means all is not lost between the two. I think/hope it is just chest beating at the moment and things settle down.
