Exactly. Amazed by people of sanity like Renton coming out with comments that he's shocked that people think it was a red. It's right there in front of you.

1. What have you made of your start to the season so far? Utter shite. 4/10. We've played well once, and that was against Bordeaux. Having said that we've only lost twice, and they were to two teams who will expect to get to the last 8 of the Champions League. 2. What are your opinions our our start to the season so far? Seems like Steve Clarke has taken to management well, (his last management toe dipper was a 6-0 defeat as manager of NUFC) early days though, you have some half decent players, if Lukaku was more prolific you could even be higher. 3. We've recently seen Alan Pardew given a new eight year contract, what are your reactions to this? He's proved himself as a manager with us so reasonably pleased, he won't get emotional if they give him little money to spend, I like him as a manager, but he can't go a month without praising the most disgusting owner in British football. 4. Mike Ashley always seemed an unpopular figure around your parts, what are your opinions on him? Absolute cunt. I could say things about him here, about what I would like to happen to him that would get me locked up. 5. What are your opinions on WBA as a football club alongside its supporters? I've always liked WBA. I'll be honest with you I find the West Midlands boring, once you've spoken to a Villa fan you've spoken to them all, Wolves utter wanks I remember when they came up in 2003, and they were saying they'd be Champions League within a few seasons, they really believe they are a big club, while Birmingham City are nothing more than a generic non-entity with a sprinkling of hooligans, although I hope Clarkie does well. WBA have always been the most likeable of Midlands clubs, my first memories of them are turning us over 0-1 in the League Cup, then a week later we beat you 1-5 at the Hawthornes in the league. Modest fans, they have few OOT's, but have always had a solid 15000-20000 in almost all circumstances. For me WBA are just as big a club as Villa. 6. Which players in your side should we look out for, and which players in our side do you fear? Without sounding arrogant I'm sure you know most of our players well, HBA can beat anyone on his own on his day, I think Demba will be itching to score again though, I think he might. I think a very underrated player for you is James Morrison, his deliveries are good, and pops up with the odd goal and plenty assists. 7. What are you expecting for the remainder of the season? I don't know to be honest. If we plod on like we have we won't lose many but we'll be a disappointing 9th or 10th, whereas if we start playing like we're more than capable of, then 6th or 7th will be more than possible. I think Everton's bubble will burst. 8. What are you expecting from WBA for the remainder of the season? Do we have a chance of Europe? I think you'll be 9th-12th good start for Steve Clarke. 9. What side is Alan Pardew most likely to put out? Will be the same one as yesterday, maybe with Cisse in for Shola. 10. And finally, score predictions. 2-1 to the toon. Will be a shite game imo.

See that Brian Coddington he was from South Yorkshire, about 20 miles from Derby, he was blatantly cheating and should've been jailed.

That HBA one should've resulted in 10 game ban like Witsel got for Anderlecht. See if us or the mackems get to the FA Cup Semi Final, we won't be playing at our scheduled date. Looking at the fixture list that would mean a night game for the first time in well over a decade, that would be quite tasty for the OB, and the atmosphere would be amazing.

Sunday League football when I started playing as a 16 year old, about 95, was thuggish and it was a reflection of the football league, now even a softly softly approached has appeared there. I think Martin Atkinson was a disgrace aside from that, I and many other toon fans must've started getting paranoid at the amount of basic decisions he was getting wrong. Corners that should've been ours, letting tough challenges go but being pedantic about others. Would be interesting to recall if he's reffed us before, and what he was like then.

In 1985 he might not have even have had a yellow card, we're in 2012 now, and it's becoming less and less a combative physical sport. You know yourself 9 out of 10 referee would've given a red card for that. Whatever Lee Ryder says it is, a red card or a yellow card, the opposite of what he says will be true.

Ganna be near freezing as the weather changes from Wednesday so could be less than 30k. On the basis that Bordeaux did these 4-0, I think anything other than a win is a failure.

I think more people think it was a red than a yellow. It was excessive, an assault on his shin. How many broken legs do you see? Too many and without any doubt it was a potential leg breaker. Thank God Fletcher's studs didn't stick in the turf, and fair play to Pards for admitting the obvious, he realised he would've looked a mug if he said any other.

I'd say almost snapping someones leg is pretty far in the excessive force zone.

I didn't say we were. I expect to, that's different from being guaranteed. We were in third gear yesterday, and imo were destined to win 0-2 or 0-3 till the sending off. If we played the game tomorrow I'd expect the same. Taylor saying that not one of their players would get in our side is totally correct.

The bottom line is this, and I hope mackems are reading this. 1-1 against Sunderland given the difference in quality of the playing staff, is a disappointing and SHIT result. When they come to SJP it is genuinely frightening for them, for their supporters, for their players there's nothing like it in England. Newcastle go to Sunderland it's anything but frightening, our fans take the piss from leaving the Central Station till we're back on the metro home, all you can ever hear is the away support, it's completely different. Newcastle have the platform to win at the SOS every time, Sunderland have to overcome huge mountains to get a result here. 1-1 is a poor result for us there, and the most important thing isn't dropping points to Sunderland, it's having just 10 points from 8 games. We're in for a shocker of a season unless we get at least 9 points from our next 4 games, and I have to say we SHOULD get at least this tally with 3 home games against WBA, West Ham and Swansea, plus a trip to the WP. Just gutting how unlucky we were.

So did Pardew say the ref was correct. There's no doubt there are things which CAN be debated, debating whether Tiote should've been sent off is borderline retarded. There is no debate.

He delivered something though, he delivered 40 goals, and beat Sunderland on his own. Luque was on 60k a week, with a £12m fee and gave us absolutely fuck all, as for Xisco 1 goal 5 appearances in 5 years. Incomparable. Even using some gimpy equasion you could prove Owen was better value than either of these.

Owen scored almost a goal every 2 games, which is a good record. He wasn't fit often enough, but we at least got something from him occasionally, what have we got from Xisco?

Was without doubt a red. Imo anyone saying it's not is trying to be alternative and clever.

I remember when Ferguson went back to the blue dippers, Anal wrote in the paper that pound for pound he was the worst signing in the clubs history, he wouldn't even be in the top 10 imo. Luque and Xisco, are up there with the worst signings in world footballing history for any club imo. The Marco Boogers of their era.

Yes. So was Vinnie Jones, so was Mark Dennis, so is that £40m Belgian Witsel. All for the same reasons too.
