He was finished when we had him. I meant directly from Scotland. Boumsong Darren Jackon Archie Gourlay Stephen Glass Paul Sweeney Craig Moore Alex Mathie Neil Simpson Kevin Gallagher Roy Aitken Andy Walker ...a quite shocking list.

Aye, one thing is for certain, there'll be a sack with no compensation clause in there without a doubt.

I think if we are 10-15th in January, we should write our league season off to be honest. Fuck it. We're in Europe, why not concentrate our efforts on that and the FA Cup? I know one Premier League place is worth £800,000, so fuck, the fact is if we play our strongest team in Europe and the Cup we'll have an outside chance of winning one of them, which is more than our chances of coming top 6 in the league seem at the moment.

I've got nowt against Londoners, some of the funniest people I've ever met are Londoners.
-
Coldest I've ever been at a football match that neet. I'd been to a works party in London the night before, and lets just say for once I was far from a clean living lad, which didn't help matters. As for Izaguirre and Hooper getting in our side, I don't think so, the fact Kenny Miller was a star in the SPL, but is a Championship striker is telling. I can't remember Newcastle signing anyone from Scotland in my supporting life time who was any good (other than Mark McGhee). We definitely shouldn't be looking to sign players off Celtic, the only one I feel who could develop in to top class level is Wanyama. Without doubt a good player. Perhaps the young lad has a chance too.

Hmmm possibly, I should've created a green just for him, because I'm not happy with him this season, that shot on his left foot first half, if I was managing a sunday league team I'd have bollocked him. He DOES have it though, I agree.

Astonishing really. I was brought up a christian, but I'll say this. If he died today I wouldn't shed any tears. I don't think there's a chairman in football who has received ridiculous amounts of praise for NOT selling players like he has from Pards. I can't even think of a parallel, and being praised for giving the manager pennies to spend when it's never enough. "I have to fank Mike for the £5m investment he's given me on Anita." What would he be like if he was Man City manager, sucking the Sheikh's off two at a time?

Will be a shame to see Hearts go too, but they've been a fucked up club for years. Remember that season Burley won 9 out of 9 with them about 2005, and got sacked? That Romanov makes Ashley look an amiable owner. Watched some of the Hibs game yesterday before wors, they've got a good striker called Leigh Griffiths, but the rest of the side are astonishingly poor, yet they are second top just one point behind Celtic with more than a quarter of the season gone. Hibs are League One level at the very best, it's no wonder clubs are struggling financially, you can't expect big crowds, sponsorship and investment when the product is so poor. Celtic 1 St Johnstone 1 ffs. Make no mistake about it, on paper Cardiff are better than Celtic. I think Celtic's victory over Barcelona, is the greatest win of any club in the last 30 years anywhere in the world, given how shite they are, and given the quality Barcelona have.

The squad is the problem 1 GK Tim Krul 2 DF Fabricio Coloccini (captain) 3 DF Davide Santon 4 MF Yohan Cabaye 5 DF Danny Simpson 6 DF Mike Williamson 8 MF Vurnon Anita 9 FW Papiss Cissé 10 MF Hatem Ben Arfa 14 DF James Perch 15 MF Dan Gosling 16 DF Ryan Taylor 17 MF Romain Amalfitano 18 MF Jonás Gutiérrez (vice-captain) 19 FW Demba Ba 20 MF Gaël Bigirimana 21 GK Rob Elliot 22 MF Sylvain Marveaux 23 FW Shola Ameobi 24 MF Cheick Tioté 25 MF Gabriel Obertan 27 DF Steven Taylor 28 FW Sammy Ameobi 29 MF Haris Vučkić 30 FW Nile Ranger 31 DF Shane Ferguson 32 FW Xisco 33 DF Curtis Good 34 DF James Tavernier 37 GK Steve Harper 39 MF Mehdi Abeid 42 GK Jak Alnwick Red: Do one Orange: Pipe Up or do one Yellow: Jury out but there's hope Blue: Hopefully here for the long term This shows how weak our supposedly strong squad is imo.

Leazes would have a field day today like.

Not really, especially with Roeder who oversaw some cracking wins. Roeder's reign can easily be taken to pieces by statto types based on his full season, but we played many very good games that season, and we had title winning form the latter half of 05/06. The problem Roeder had was NUFC had the worst injury crisis in our history the latter half of 06/07.

N.O. is about as representative of Newcastle fans view, as Gary Glitter is of the RSPCC. The rest is spot on, lacklustre and desperate are two words which sum our season up. Before yesterday the head in sand brigade were pointing out that it hasn't been too bad because we've only lost to the European Champions, and side who have won 4 of the last 6 league titles, they can't even say that now. Our tactic at set pieces as well seems to be, "when you put the baww in the box, aim for Wiwwo" he doesn't even win half of them, he never ever fucking scores, yet this really seems to be the policy.

At least two of the top 7 won't be top 7 though.

Before a ball was kicked I said we'd come 12th, the same as I said we'd come 5th last season. As soon as the season started and the transfer window closed, you could sense that it all seemed broken, the momentum lost, and without wishing to sound like a broken record, the man squarely to blame is Mike "Fat Bastard Scumbag Barrowboy" Ashley. I'm by no means suggesting Debuchy and another would've made us world beaters, but they would've continued the progress, from signing Fitz Hall 2 and a half years ago, to signing a world class full back. I appreciate they are businessmen, and get good deals, but £6m for someone of his calibre is hardly pushing the boat out. That is the fundamental problem is what we didn't do, and being patronised by the yes man that is Pardew about being "fankfuw to Mike" for NOT SELLING Tiote, and other players is just incredible. Yes be thankful to Mike for not building on 5th place and especially thankful for him not ripping our squad to bits. Arseholes. I could sense it was fucked August 18th, and the system we were using with Ba on the right really worked, but it seems to me Pards hasn't got the balls to piss Demba off by returning to the 433 with Cisse in the middle. It was working well, we were deservedly getting results instead of fluking them, and we have not played really well in one of our 18 games this season. West Ham are shite, they are a nothing club with owners who will pay decent fees and wages to get players who are above their level, but they are still shite. Fat Sam for all his faults, given time, organises sides to the point where they are hard to beat. The defensive shape of West Ham yesterday was faultless, we'd get past one, there was somebody there, but we should still have the quality and energy to combat this, but it's just not there. We are so static it is unbelievable, there is such little movement, we just don't move off the ball. Our defensive rigid formation is fine when we're not conceding, but we're on the back of a 3-0 home defeat, a 2-2 draw with a team who have lost 5 of their last 6 (the one they didn't lose was against us, and they lost 6-1 yesterday) and the luckiest most undeserved win we've had at home in years against WBA. Because there is such a lack of fluidity the way we are playing, we rely on one of two things, long balls up to Shola or Ba to flick on (see opening goal against WBA), set pieces which we're shite at anyway imo, and Ben Arfa conjuring up a bit of magic. It's shit. Pards has proven a more than competent manager so far so he must be able to see why it's not happening and do something about it. The crowd don't help neither, I think Ashley has sucked the life out of the stadium, but we have 10,000 people who get behind the side on occasion, and 40,000 mutes who are too boring or too inhibited to stand up and roar them on.

Aye, apparently so. Why does it say you posted that at 440pm, when it's 253pm?

Good to see Tino looking like he's going to get a coaching role back at the club. I can't see any negative at all, the worst case scenario is he'll put a smile on the players faces. If you're 20-30 year old, and you grew up loving football you'd be massively excited by working with Tino every day.

Cheeky cunt. I get to the funny bit sometimes. It'll be that account they banned, I don't respond to arseholes these days, waste of time and effort, hence I never reply to Wolfy.

WWould be like the powerhoose on here, if every one took one of these pills.

No tickets being sold today, and there's been only 18,000 sold. It holds 32,000. Pisser for the few thousand ticketless toon fans.
-
That sums it up beautifully, I was expecting someone saying I was generalising. I got a ticket off a tout for 40 quid for England v Romania in Charleroi. His pants were too big for him, you could see his bum cheeks sticking out of his trousers, he was about 5st overweight, unshaven, looked hungover, and was a grumpy fucka. I could've been in Sheffield or Manchester. I will say their chips are fantastic, better than you get in the South of England, proper chips, but what they do with fish is disturbing. My fish was almost blue, and they put it on a stick!
-
It is a funny place like. I loved Charleroi and Liege even though they're in Wallonia which is supposed to be the shit part, it just feels real, like a Yorkshire away but 10 times more interesting and 10 times better beer. Brussels is fantastic but it's shops and shopping centres are 25 years behind wors. Belgium is 100 times less stuffy than France, and while I love Holland it's too pretty, it's just like look we're fat cunts, we're not that good looking we like beer, football, chips and gambling (there's Ladbrokes everywhere). Right up my strasse is Belgium. Agree with the keeping away from the toon fans for a bit like, I must be getting snobby too, especially keeping away from the cocks oot if you love the toon cringeworthy element. They could have their hands full today like, because it would be no surprise if Feyenoord turn out as they did in Breda and Alkmaar.
-
Antwerp and Brussels are canny. If you ignore the fact it feels like you're in Istanbul, Brussels is good. The people are real, they get pissed, I like Belgium and I like Belgians.
-
"Error 404" sums you up tbh.

I'd love to see the biggest club in eh werruld go that way, but they're more prudently managed than Rangers or Hearts were. It's pretty sad that nationally Darlo's situation has largely passed unnoticed.
