  1. Even though by every rule going it was a red card? 9/10 refs give a red card. Our manager accepts it and he accepts fuck all normally. Hey listen there's absolutely no doubt Atkinson had a woeful game, every 50/50 seemed to go their way, but it was a red, and just cos it's a derby game should he ignore the fact that it's a sending off?
  2. I agree but he can channel it more, by channelling it you don't necessarily lose the player. David Batty was a psycho in his early Leeds days but he learned brilliantly. I think he should start talking to referees more. Vieira is a sly cunt, I never liked him, I wish Keane had've done him in the tunnel at Highbury, very sly man Vieira, and that slyness used to came to the fore with referees. He cuddled referees more times than he cuddled his wife, making it more difficult to send him off. Tiote just runs round like Mr T, and leaves himself wide open. Little psychological ploys work, Man Utd have used them for years.
  3. I agree with everything you've said. Idiots on twitter saying PERCH(!?!?) is a better long term DMC option ffs. All I would say is, he can keep his aggression, but just be more intelligent with it, he's a man now, he's not a boy.
  4. Talksport is a wind up radio station. A manager will do everything in his power to put a major slant on his side and his players looking righteous, no one is more guilty of that than Pards normally, yet even HE has held his hands up and said look no complaints here. The red is not the issue, the issue clearly is Tiote thinking he's fucking Rambo every time he walks on a pitch.
  5. His foot is 2ft off the floor. Just my poor language skills, apologies.
  6. I think that's contentious, his bottom studs definitely connect. If there is a youtube, you'll see it's more straight on than side on. We'd have been up in arms if Cattermole escaped a red for that. Like I say Pards was dignified, and tbf he couldn't say any other than what was staring him in the face.
  7. He's a rock when he's had 4 or 5 games under him, but when he's finding his feet after injuries and suspensions, he's a liability, his passing can be poor, and you see incidents like yesterday creep in to his game.
  8. Not so much a few factual inaccuracies above, as all of them are. 1. His foot IS two foot off the ground it is actually impossible to say he didn't come in at pace, and connect with Fletcher's shin two foot off the floor. 2. Nope. It was his studs. David Blunkett could see by this picture it's his studs too. 3. Completely and utterly irrelevant when the whistle goes. When the referees whistle goes does that give people license to do something dangerous? Was a blatant sending off, and to be fair to Pards he was decent enough to admit it on second viewing, and acknowledge rightly, that it was a definite stone wall red card.
  9. There must be some crystal meths knocking about cheap in Newcastle like. Nee one, NEE ONE, is more deluded and biased about Newcastle than me, but if that's not a red card, red cards should be abolished from football. It's not a competition as to who's was worse, as the Shola chest studs incident was dangerous play too. However, can someone just try and explain why Tiote's wasn't a red card. He's coming in two foot off the ground scraping his studs in the middle of Fletcher's leg. If Fletcher's studs stick in the turf you have a David Buust. He'd already won the free kick what the fuck was he doing? If that's not overtly dangerous play then I don't know what is. Instead of blaming the ref for an isolated incident, blame Tiote, he's a fucking liability. The picture of the tackle someone put up on the previous page is misleading too, it's a lot worse than that. We only get the real Tiote for 20 games a season, because he starts shit, and he's at his very good best when he has a run of games (Dyer was exactly the same), and this is often broken up by suspensions and injuries. I'd take £20m for him me. The game itself only showed us what we already knew, we are head and shoulders better than them. They're not that much better than Wigan and Reading imo, gutting thing for me was I had Cabaye first goal and 3-0 at 200/1 and I may well have got it up if it wasn't for fucking Tiote.
  10. Good post Fish, your finest hour. Fucking howay!!!! I want to beat the paraffins don't get me wrong, but I want to win for NUFC, we DESPERATELY need 3 points today, and my desire for three points is bigger than the fact we'll beat Sunderland. Sounds like I'm talking shite reading it back but I know what I mean. 12 points, same as Arsenal and we'll feel a lot better about things.
  11. Steve Nicol The Merseyside derby is a joke game, to the extent it's not even Liverpool's biggest game of the season, and I never watch it. It's usually a shit atmosphere and a shit game, with opposing fans sitting beside each other at the game. I wouldn't rank it in the top 10 annual league games of the Premiership calendar. Anyone with half a clue knows the intensity of the Tyne Wear derby has no real equal in this country. Niall Quinn played in lots of North London and Manc derbies and said many times there in NO COMPARISON. Nicol is a fat divvy who wasn't taken seriously in this country so he had to go to America for work.
  12. That picture was taken in the blue monkey in Sunderland you meff. You have to look yourself in the mirror and admit Newcastle women are far far far superior to mackem women. It's genetic. I used to work in Sunderland and odd times I turned out in the "tewn", I used to think Holland must be playing the neet with the amount of orange face paint on the women. There literally is nothing Sunderland can take the piss out of Newcastle for we can't return 100 fold.
  13. I can remember going to see Back To The Future like it was yesterday man
  14. The fact I rarely go in to a full sprint for fear of my hamstrings going.
  15. 737 replies to a thread in 5 days. Have there been any highlights or is it just wronguns talking wank?
  16. Hughton's done well, but you highlight a good point, I didn't even think of Hughton because I never put him in a box "he's a black man", why should you? It's ridiculous in 2012, and as Jonny touched on, Malcolm X type figures crying racial discrimination over lack of job opportunities are nearly as bad as the racists themselves, particularly when the likes of Paul Ince and John Barnes don't get the jobs because the fact is they are shit and have no history of getting impressive results.
  17. John Barnes with Celtic oh dear. Inverness were in the bottom division iirc and beat Celtic 3-1 at Parkhead. If there's a good manager, I seriously don't think skin colour comes in to it. Spain has had more problems than England in terms of racism and football, particularly in the stands, yet Frank Rijkaard managed the biggest club of them all because he was good at his job. If someone can show me a good black British manager, with a proven record go ahead. I think if Ian Wright's role grows at MK Dons he has the character and personality to be a good manager personally.
  18. haha good point, didn't that well known Serb pacifist Sinisa Mihaijlovic do the same? Am I allowed to ask this question?
  19. Unchecked. What an arsehole. The only way you'd be able to check me is in cyber world, having seen you, you'd be a stuttering mess in person.
  20. Aye that's pretty well known, there's an anti-semitism exists there though which is more prominent than it is here. You'd never get away with a nazi flag or salute at an English game, unless your name is Mark Bosnich of course.
  21. It's just an act I put on because I enjoy reading boring cunts like you getting emotional, it also gives you something to say, when in real terms you have very little to say particularly about football*, so you should be thankful to me really. * although this particular post defines the very title of this thread http://www.toontasti...80#entry1133095 You'd have actually had an epileptic fit if you'd have been with me at the Bigg Market earlier... https://twitter.com/leazeslad/status/258926118424432640/photo/1 he was muttering cunts, cunts, cunts to himself by the time I passed him at pizza hut.
  22. That doesn't really surprise me about the Dutch by the way. Feyenoord's hardcore are openly anti-semitic, and Ajax get worse abuse than Tottenham ever did for their jewish connections.
  23. Nowt wrong with Indians or Greeks for that matter. People from Chester Le Street with mackem accents on the other hand....
