  1. Was listening to a few old timers when I was on the drink the other day on about Ivor Broadis being one of our greatest ever players. One of me uncles used to mention him, but I didn't know much about him. One of the greatest players in our history allegedly even though he was only here two years, and talk about interesting life. Flew a hercules full of army people home from Italy when the war ended and embarked on a football career, shortly becoming the youngest player manager in English football history. Canny read this. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ivor_Broadis
  2. I'd challenge him to a light heavyweight contest if I didn't have a metal plate under my eye. The owner of Wonga has just been on, South African, he said we've solved Newcastle's problem. Fuck knows what that means? We have a global fanbase of 6m allegedly, how is it a problem finding an adequate sponsor?
  3. Away and fuck aff ya wee bawbag at ye are. I'd gladly put mine up against yours as well. I'm a skinny cunt nuw, well 15st, but that's skinny for my frame.
  4. Well said, I've been telling him to pipe down for five years, but he never listens.
  5. Look at that blokes shoulders Make J69's shoulders look like Hulk Hogan's. Anyone know what sort of annual turnover these bastards have?
  6. I was young and daft when I worked there, as for touts so fuck. Well done on ignoring my assertions about your alternative view policy, if the popular view was shite smell awful, you'd find a way of giving support for it's odor.
  7. I'm not talking shite at all, this was the information we were supplied with from her when I worked at Doxford Park with all those cunts making my ears bleed on a daily basis. I couldn't give a fuck about someone I respect so little questioning my integrity anyway. The problem with you is you strive for an alternative view to make yourself look more interesting, when it just makes you look a mug. A very very good friend of mine suffers from exactly the same affliction. These types are everywhere on here. Wonga are wonguns end of story, regardless how you dress it up.
  8. Say you earn £1500 a month you're a single parent mum, you have £20 a month disposable income and that goes on more comfortable fanny pads, your heating is fucked, the bairn is cold you need a quick fix so need to borrow £500. You get the job done, and end up paying someone £100 more than you initially borrowed over a 2 week loan, when you're already skint. These are situations that happen every single day, this company are no better than legalised cockney loan sharks.
  9. The principle remains the same, people in all sorts of shit circumstances use their facilities because of desperation, and they're all too keen to cash in on their situation.
  10. Links? What did you need links for. I used to work for a company called the Associates (no Citi Financial), they were exactly the same as Wonga. My disgusting job at the time was a collector, basically bullying people in to sorting out arrears. In my time there, I remember at least two suicides directly attributable to debts, one family even wrote to us afterwards, which is why I feel so strongly about this. I remember one woman, single parent from Dewsbury she borrowed £3000 with an income of £9000 p/a, because her son needed the house altering because he was severely disabled and she was getting little help off the council. She lost her job, and had no insurance plan on it, and every time I used to ring she'd say "you're killing me off", I'd go home upset. THAT is why people go to these companies, they are utterly desperate, not because they want to fuck off to Las Vegas for the weekend. It's common sense, and plain to see that an association with a company who target poor people with a view to ripping them off. If people are comfortable with that that's entirely up to them, but I'm not.
  11. I bet there's a big fanfare about it all. All Hail King Mike.
  12. Well why not call it the Wonga Stadium if that's entirely the case?
  13. people that can't see past this ludicrous PR stunt. The shirt plus stadium deal was banded about at £10m a year. They've probably said we'll pay £8m a year and no more, and come to an agreement that the stadium reverts to SJP. A PR triumph for Ashley, and a PR triumph for Wonga, straight away seen as the good guys, and won't face any outpouring of negativity towards renaming a 120 year old stadium. There are some gullible fuckers out there. Toonpack just fuck off pal. I'd love to meet you to see if you're this much of a cunt in person. Ashley could open concentration camps and you'd find some positive words for the fat cunt.
  14. Aye there's a direct comparison between borderline fraudulent loan sharks, and a legal betting company. 4FS
  15. That's fine, but not everybody has a comfortable life with a decent income. This company exploit people, borderline immoral if you ask me, and we are promoting this brand via the biggest institution (NUFC), in the second poorest region (The North East) in the country. Tampax, Durex, even Liquid Gold poppers would've been better sponsors than these.
  16. Me. Imagine the brother of Stefan Kuntz became a billionaire owning Kuntz Gas, and he decided to branch in to football sponsoring teams. How would you like it if it said "Kuntz" on the toon shirt? My issue with Wonga is it cheapens NUFC, and the actual company itself pray on skint people by charging them extortionate rates, as they can't get finance anywhere else.
  17. If anyone has a spare ticket, I'll give sexual favours and pay massively over the odds for it.
