  1. I honestly did believe you were brighter than this. By linking the shirt deal with the toxic naming rights and quoting £10m for the privilege he's basically minimising the chance of anyone actually taking up the deal. Which means in a years time we will be wandering round with SD on our tops. You're going to mock me here but I think there's worse to come. Nov 11 - stadium name change to "promote the advertising potential" Feb 12 - Llambias blames fans for lack of transfer purchases & sale of Colo "your protests against name change is putting sponsors off" Aug 12 - no new sponsors therefore SD on shirts to "further promote the advertising potential". Oct 12 - Llambias blames fans for lack of transfer purchases & sale of Tiote & Cabaye "protests against name change is putting sponsors off" Feb 13 - Llambias blames fans for lack of transfer purchases & sale of Ba, HBA & Krul "your protests against name change is putting sponsors off" Aug 13 - Club announce they've been forced to add to sponsorship benefits. "have the strips in your corporate colours with your name on the front "amazing chance to fully sponsor a major Championship club for only £50m per season". Sports Direct step in and graciously offer to let use use Blue & Red as a showcase. Aug 15 - "On Sky Sports 7 today we have the clash of the titans, our new First Division coverage starts with a trip to the Sports Direct Arena as Sports Direct FC take on Brighton" meanwhile Football Club United Newcastle play their inaugural game against Hebburn Labour Club in front of a 30k crowd. I've made the statement & I stand by it. I will never set foot inside the Sports Direct Arena unless it is to take part in some organised protest, this is our club and our stadium it is not a corporate brand. It is Newcastle United FC @ St James' Park So you will be giving them the very excuse you state they need for all those things you predict. It is and always will be SJP, ignore it. Oh, and you'll never get 30K in Hebburn, it's south of the river, Newcastle can't be based south of the water, nee fucker'd go. Fuck off you cunt. I hate cunts like you. You mean hate people who don't cry at the slightest thing ??? Slightest thing1?!?!??!?!?!?! 130 years of history consigned to memory in one sweep. You fucking arsehole! Will the renaming of NUFC be a slight thing too. As I said last night it will never happen at Celtic or Man Utd. Imagine this "the Champions League Quarter Final between AC Milan and Chelse is live arfter the break from the Dominos Pizza Arena", it's as bad as what he's done. The two of them could spit roast your wife, "well I'm all for sanctioning positive feelings at boardroom level". You're a tit mate a fuckin tit. Consigned to memory, get a grip man, who amongst supporters (who are all that matters tbh) anywhere (except Sunlun for the wind up factor) is going to call it SD Arena. No-one who matters will. It is and always shall be SJP. Do I think what he's done is right, no. But it makes no difference unless you let it. You got over SD @ SJP, you'll get over this. Do you think Sky Sports and the BBC and the newspapers will be referring to where a game has taken place as SJP? You must be off your trolley pal, the whole world will think we now play at the SD Arena. I'd rather it was called the STD Arena than this. Kids will grow up, impressionable kids 8-14 and it will just be normal to call it the Sports Direct Arena, they'll grow wondering what the fuss is about SJP. He's done everything else you can do to strip a club of it's dignity, this is the worst, and the only lower he can go now is changing our colours and actually renaming the club.

  5. Word for word almost what I said last night minus swear words.
  6. What we should do is every game the whole ground Justice For the 96 style, sing Sports Direct is fuckin shite for 6 minutes, hopefully putting any potential sponsors off. Also hopefully making them reconsider what a fucking unreal decision they've made.
  7. Brian McNally is a wanker. He is, but he's used the right word just there, it is OBSCENE. If people are going to come out with total pish about extra money coming in to the club to win trophies (which we won't ever), then why stop with St James'. Surely if you're going to let an 130 year piece of heritage just evaporate to nothing, why stop there?????? 130 years. Why not renaming the club Newcastle Sports Direct Sports Bras??? Why not do that if we're accepting this, we've only been known as Newcastle United for 119 years. Pah what's 119 years for an extra 5-10m. Fucking unbelievable. It would never happen at Man Utd, I tell you something it else it would never happen at an irrelevance of a club like Celtic who have fuck all money because the fans wouldn't let it happen.
  8. Why can't we have both? Do you honestly believe ,Chez, that a single penny of this, so far, non existent £10million will make it's way to the transfer kitty? It's incredible that even intelligent people feel there's nothing wrong with this. Mate of mine tonight who I'm seeing tomorrow night just put on twitter that it's all part of the commercial world this now. I'm choking back the vomit to think that anyone can put a positive slant on this darkest of nights. As I said ALL calculated to wind up, show who's boss, and the timing in thatthere's no home game for 4 weeks.
  9. Fuck off you arrogant cock. Shut up you daft IRA sympathising arsehole, I'd dig through your posts, but there's no longer the option to.
  10. You've all went (apart from PP, LM and me) "I can see where he's taking us here". Aye so can I, to a place he can make as much money as possible, while actually using us. As a business he's making us as an attractive a proposition for a buyer as possible, fine, but don't fuckin decimate and desecrate our heritage doing it. The word you used "defacing" the two stands, is perfect, that's exactly what it is. It's like someone getting a tattoo of a cock on their cheek, that's how bad it looks.
  11. Good post. What next? He'll change name of club next. Sports fucking Direct Arena????I also take it that we will have the fucking sport direct bullshit logo on our strips from next season with the Northern Rock deal running out. God help us!!!! Everything is fucking calculated too. Down to the fact that they've announced it now ""yeah theres two awyy gyymes arfta the anaaahncement, they'll uv piped dahn by december sahn" I'll never pipe down, Champions League Winners 2013 I want them gone, I hate them, everyone in town as a duty to physically assault them if the situation permits it. It's antagonism at its' worst. Fat bastards.
  12. Fucking cunts. I'll say right away the people who have supported Ashley recently, are nothing more than gullible arseholes. As far as I can see I have been the only one vehemently opposed to him despite our start on here, and all this he's getting things right so pipe down Stevie even with fucking mates. Sorry me and Leazes Mag, Peasepud when he pops in. He's the devil. 1881 it's been there, fucking 130 years, for him to do this and make no mistake commentators will call it that. Of all his stunts this is the second worst behind Keegangate, I'd rather by 15th now than for this to happen. It seems every 7 or 8 months he does something deliberate to wind people up and show who is boss, they can't be that fucking stupid that they don't realise people are going to be massive upset about losing a significant part of our heritage. As far as I'm concerned this is like when Lenin started acting the cunt in the Soviet Union, and changed the name of St Petersburg to Leningrad. Well it took them 60 years to rectify it, but it won't take us that long, I want this cunt out I don't care if we win the Champions League he is a calculating antagonistic record. Anyone that disagrees with any of this is a mug.
  13. Poppies can now be warn on the black arm bands What a fucking farce. All of you just dismissing it as the Daily Mail trying to drum up a non story, are either anti-British, Irish, both or seeking and contriving an alternative view to common sense. Still I'd like to know why they're allowed on the armband and not the shirt.
  14. Better than any of their CM's. So is Tiote. I wouldn't swap the pair for anyones first choice two.
  15. pmsl I can't catch me breath. Pmsl, What good is that going to do. The EDL pmsl hahaha
  16. Interests Likes: Muslims, Mike Ashley Dislikes: Freedom, The West
  17. I was thinking why can't I respond to this thread. I wasn't logged in. Daft cunt. Anyway, he's saying he's aware of "United's" interest, so even if there's a spore of truth that there is an interest and he is aware, for all you head in sand mob, why do these clubs think we can take our players? What would we have said if Man Utd asked about Ginola in 96? Or even Given in 2003? Fuck off! Even non events like Tottenham can sniff round because our owner will sell anyone at a set price - fact.
  18. Client of mine asked me to headhunt 6 people for two roles in Birmingham last week. It took me till today to get the right calibre of people over to them, four of them bog standard brummies with good backrounds, two brummies with Asian surnames who were arguably the best of the lot. Just got an email back they want to see four of them - guess the two they don't want to see.... nee good that like when it's so blatant.
  19. They didn't even look double glazed. I went there in 94 when they put us out the Cup, and straight up the door to get to the stand was like walking in someones hoose. Never been like although I remember that match. On Sky wasn't it? John Hartson only played because they had a load of injuries and he tore us a new arsehole and made a name for himself. Filbert Street was like that though, i.e. like you were going into someone's house. That was a dump. Aye last time I went there Shearer kicked Neil Lennon in the head, and I didn't even know he'd done it till I got the paper in the morning that's how shit the view was. Animals Leicester fans too.
  20. I get the impression CT's knowledge is pretty good from about 78 to 82 then it stops for a bit, because he knows players I've hardly even heard of from that era.
  21. They didn't even look double glazed. I went there in 94 when they put us out the Cup, and straight up the door to get to the stand was like walking in someones hoose.
