Ok swap out carr on the bench and replace with Nobby, but zoggy wont get a look in for the time being, I want to see how the new midfield works first, I've always been a secret admirer of Emre, when hes playing well he can be devastating but he does go missing alot to be honest, but I would love to see him turn it round this coming season, if there was a season to shine, this is it Emre seems to have the qualities to really turn it on, but I think it depends on the people around him to create space. I think you may be right, hopefully the work of Smith, Barton etc can create the time and space for him.

That team would be completely over ran in midfield, not one of those midfielders is best sitting. That's what I thought, you can't play a 3 like that in a 4-3-3. Especially away to the likes of Bolton. Aye, that's fair. You could just go route one though and miss the midfield competely! Would be a waste of the wingers though. Seriously, with Smith dropping back I reckon against weaker more attacking teams it could work.

If the likes of Man United come in for him then he will probably go, he has lost over a year of his career and the bloke seems to have a pathological need to win, and he hasn't for a long while. We obviously were a route to the world cup for him, that didn't work. If he goes he is hated at SJP for one fixture a season but in return he gets repeated nights of Champions League football and a real chance of silverware this season. Owen isn't motivated by adoration, he is motivated by silverware. If he goes I won't blame him, I'll blame Freddy Shepherd for being reckless with the clubs money.
