Agreed with it all, except I'm not so sure about Hughes. He has as much going for him as Allardyce did in my opinion. Had it been a straight choice between Hughes and Allardyce, I think it would have split opinions 50/50.

Sam didn't have to leave Bolton to come here, he risked his financial future to do it so a pay-off is more tha nreasonably in my mind, although obvioulsy massively over-valued. Pearce was as much a risk for city as city was for him, so a pay off is less deserved in that case.

If it wasnt going to be the end of the season (which looking at the last few games would have been a big risk, we've all said the second part to the season would be much harder), then before this window closed would be better to try and make any quick changes to the team (though there aint long left and I think whoever comes in will be lucky to land anyone). You won't find me disagreeing that he should have either brought his own man in, or leave Pearson in charge and wait until the summer.

Don't know how many of yous follow other boards, but it's getting really fucked up. I started over on Rivals before finding this place, and in that time the original rivals board has now split into FOUR boards. Old Rivals got taken over by Sky, the admin decamped to NUFCView warning of bad things ahead, most stayed, then Sky revamped the board and completely fucked it up, so the new admin and most others left to join the new fansonline network set up by a smog, then he had a change of heart and went back to try and make a go of the fixed Sky Rivals although everyone else stayed on Fansonline, now after a smog invasion of that board and some retaliation, the smog owner has banned all the regulars, who have now all tonight fucked off to yet another board. Madness.

If it's fun he's after, you can't go wrong with the kings of Saturday night entertainment.
