  1. 'LOOK AT THE SIZE OF THIS FUCKING RAT' SAY ZOOLOGISTS A NEW species of giant rat has been discovered in a remote region of New Guinea by a team of totally freaked-out zoologists. 'The scientists from Conservation International spotted the 'absolutely mental thing' during a five-day trek through the hazardous Foja mountains. Expedition leader Professor Wayne Hayes said: "I was filling my water bottle when I saw this huge fucking thing and I shouted to my mate Dave, I said, 'Dave, look at the size of that fucker!' and Dave was like, 'Jesus Christ, it's a fucking monster!
  2. "Sources close to Blair said he will use the money to get his wife's face repaired."
  3. He might last a bit longer Not hard when BSA was the shortest NUFC managerial reign ever.
  4. Hence why he wants the job. We are the last chance saloon of the nearly men, Souness, Roeder, Redknapp and possibly even Allardyce.
  5. One of Sam's buys just signed for Chelsea for £15m.
  6. It's not surprising he's champing at the bit to get this job is it? His only crack at the big time. What a fucking disaster.
  7. If that's the positive point to this appointment then its definitely the wrong one.... We need 'results' NOT necessarily 'nice football'... Well apparently Ashley sacked Sam for his style of football, can't be any other rational reason.
  8. Here's hoping at his age the stress brings on a heart attack.
  9. It's you that's got Messiahitis. I think I'm seeing things on here today. Every pro-Redknapp post on here is exactly what was said about Allardyce. Fucking time-warp.
  10. What the fuck is wrong with everyone? NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. Alright, stuffing a sheeps lungs into it's stomach and boiling it. I knew it was a spongy protein mass, not far off.
  12. What the fuck? I know, fucked up or what? If you're implying that that's what haggis is then you're well wide of the mark there mate. That was my understanding yes.

He was definitely more pro Allardyce than Keegan on the night.
  14. On a Pompey forum. Have they seen what we've been served this year?
  15. What the fuck? I know, fucked up or what?
  16. I saw someone eating a mince pie with cranberry stilton the other day. Sick.
  17. Garlic Bread Cheese Cake Stuffing a sheeps brain into it's stomach and boiling it
  18. I think he means players, agents and staff just as much as Fat Fred, going what I've heard from past players etc.
  19. There isn't one that's likely to be interested, therefore giving Big Sam the time he should have been given was the best option. I'd honestly be disappointed barring the appointment of Mourinho. Any of the ones listed then I'd have much rather have given Big Sam the time he deserved. This is the crux of the matter: Hiddink or Mourinho or Lippi would be lovely but they are not going to come here. The level we're at (Harry, Hughes, Moyes etc) are no real improvement on Allardyce. So what was the point? Back to square one again before repeating the process again in a years time. Not really. The problem with Allardyce was his philosophy and style of football. People are saying we should have kept Allardyce because he'd get there eventually once he could impose himself on matters, but no one really wanted to see the team set up like Bolton. So if we swap him for someone of equal calibre but with a more attractive philosophy, then it's an improvement. Especially since the new man will have Ashley's full backing, which Allardyce clearly did not. Good post. As I said earlier, I think Redknapp will will surprise a few on here, especially if Ashley throws money at him. Harry has done an 'OK' job with a mediocre club and turned them into a side which is on the peripheral of qualifying for Europe each season. Much the same as Souness did at Blackburn and Allardyce did at Bolton. If we do go for Harry it'll be the 4th consecutive appointment where we've taken a step sideways (arguably Roeder was a step backwards!). The last manager who was a step forward was Sir Bobby Robson. Ironically, the last to be warmly received at SJP. tbf, we're a mediocre club atm to whom qualifying for Europe for the next couple of seasons would be a pretty large step forward. Did Allaradyce not have European Qualification on his 'CV' ? That the same as Champion's League wins, is it? You want Champions League wins as a minimum requirement for a manager to take a job at "a mediocre club atm to whom qualifying for Europe for the next couple of seasons would be a pretty large step forward"
