  1. Until the ridiculous contracts negotiated by FFS can be renegotiated and NUFC starts becoming a viable concern, I expect this to continue. Short term pain for long term security.
  2. Oh dear, it has degenerated into name calling, I'll come back later.
  3. £19.2mill is about 23mill Euros by today's exchange rate of 1.2 Just thought i'd let yer know, like. The rate is 1.2655 mate. I very much doubt Danny's going to go down Thomas Cook to change it up, thats 18.17m. Silly Billy. Just going on what I saw at the Post Office yesterday. Oh, and you're a cock. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Maybe he can pay with travellers cheques, we are talking millions of pounds here, he will pay via a financial institution.
  4. Maybe big Mike's best mate can negotiate the deal as well? Or maybe it's a big Russian Jewish Nazi conspiracy? If spuds can get him for 12, then Barca will have him for 10. 18!!!!! Are you blind!!! What have we been saying? God you are going to be disappointed when those SATs results finally arrive.
  5. 4. charlie and 5m for an spl player.. be serious No sillier than the blind support of a keeper because of his nationality tbh. your retarded considering I just had a dig at McGeady's value.... forgotten what nationality he was? (edit. well national team he plays for) I back shay because he's top class could be worse i could be backing someone who's been at best #2 at a club for 10years and never even made it on for his country (and considering the state of englands keepers thats some going) Retarded? *Bang* oh you got me there. As much as one man can love another man without exchanging body fluids, is the love I have for Sahy Given as a Newcastle player but if you can't see that he's shot you really need to have a word with yourself. As for Arshavin well forgetting the bluntest tool in the shed that is Danny (http://www.toontastic.net/board/index.php?s=&showtopic=19181&view=findpost&p=491220), Zenit don't need to see him, it's not as if they're in need of rubbles and they know if someone really wants him they are going to have to pay well over his worth to get him. That remains to be seen. He wants out, we have made the highest offer, lets see how it pans out.

  7. The figure being banded about is €23 about £18m. So it is a 6m uplift on pre euros value, still alot though. Still its not my money, I hope we can pull this off.
  8. I can change my sig if it hurts your feelings.
  9. Cutting your cloth to fit to ensure the long term survival and growth of your club in an organic fashion. wtf are you on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Organic_growth I mean he fits with Ashleys plans to make you self sufficient. You will only reap the rewards long term. he doesnt fit ashleys plan to buy youth or players going into their primes Fair enough, looks like Mike and Paul are implementing a mirror image of the Spurs system. Did Spurs invent it? Stop talking shit man. Name another team, with a DOF system, low wage structure and the player purchase policy you appear to following. Hopefully like us you can grow within this system. This has to be the funniest thing I've read in a long time. Shirley you are confusing that shitty club you support with the club that forms the chip on the shoulder of all spuds fans? Take away the misnomer that you keep referring to Wise as a director of football, it's been explained to you more than once, and you will find big Mike is trying to align the club with Arsenal's way of doing things, why would we want to have 15 midfielders? Youth/young players, appropriate wages and decent football, something Arsenal has had for years and spuds will never understand. In the words of big Mike: Yet his best mate is one. You figure it out.
  10. Spurs Odyssey can announce that as has been reported Spurs and Zenit St. Petersburg have agreed a fee for ace Russian striker/creator Andrei Arshavin. It is understood that the player is considering the move at the present time, but still needs to be convinced about coming to Spurs. It also looks as if the deal to bring Argentinean striker Diego Milito from Real Zaragoza will succeed, with a fee in the region of 12 million Euros being suggested.
  11. Just popped back to say Russian media reporting Arshavin to spurs....offer accepted Sweet dreams all!
  12. Because a lot of people think he will be sacked- clearly- that is how bookies make their prices. Clue: You still win the bet if the manager quits.
  13. I feel we have gotten a little side tracked here: The facts He has quit 75% of jobs he has had with no onward role He is perceived by fans of other clubs as a bottler He is second favourite to be first out of the door. Now I have to sleep as I have work tomorrow, I will leave you to the agitated name calling, a dodgy reasoned arguments to the contrary.
  14. and yet you cling to you "crap wum" moniker as if it were the only facet to your personality? Trust me that is opinion held by most, if not all, non NUFC. Just because you don't like it doesnt make it a wind up. No, its what your ill-informed media-lapping know-nowt mates think. Big difference. The media deals in simple stories as half its readership are below average intelligence and you dont want to alienate half the readership with complicated things like reality. You're a case in point. He walked out on you first time round, He walked out on Fulham, He walked out on England during qualifying, He retired at City......or did he. Those are the facts I dont need the media to tell me that when the going gets tough....KK gets gone. When you have to re-quote someone from less than 2 posts before you know you're dealing with a proper spacka. You said he bottled the jobs not that he walked out on the jobs. I've worked for 3 companies since i started my career, did i bottle the first 2 because i left them? All you've pointed out is the man left 4 jobs in a career now in its 5th role. Fuck me, you're as thick as Torres. Did you have another role to go into?
  15. http://www.paddypower.com/bet?action=go_ty...&bir_index= For anybody who fancies a flutter. 5-1.
  16. I don't know, why do you think Sir Bobby Robson was favourite in the sack race the season we finished 4th? Come on Jonathan. you do know, dont you?
  17. Like at 75% of the jobs he has had in management.
  18. Why do you think Keegan is second favourite in the sack race? Do you really think people think Ashley will sack him off so soon?
  19. Things not going his way? Keegan has left EVERY club he's managed better than he found it. Then as soon as there was a whiff of trouble.... I am doubting his record as a manager, just that he is percieved by 99% of people as a bottler. But you could be right maybe everybody else is crazy and you're the sane ones.
  20. Why? Because you've realised what a stupid logic it was you were using? Why is that silly? The going was good at Sevilla as you put it, two Uefa Cups on the trot, mounting title challenges against the likes of Barca, Madrid, or going to a team who think they belong with the big boys because they finished 5th twice in the last however many seasons and will forever live in their neighbours shadow. Backwards step-tastic. Why are you ignoring my point about resources. Look Keegan has left / quit most of the jobs he has been in because things werent going his way. Ramos took a job with lots of resources at his disposal as he is an ambitious man who enjoys a challenge. Surely you are not making a comparison between the two?

Those are the facts I dont need the media to tell me that when the going gets tough....KK gets gone. By that definition then so is Ramos as he left Sevilla to go to somewhere else much like Keegan did when he left Fulham for the job of national team manager. Can't exactly see how that is when the going gets tough like but there you go. And the other three? I've got reasonable answers for those, but are you going to respond to what I said about Ramos first? As when the going gets tough.... Ramos gets gone going by your logic. Erm no. You are talking one out of the four. How does that affect my logic? OK in 75% of cases keegan bottled it. Ramos took another job offer after winning two Uefs on the trot. When the going got good Ramos took the offer. You have still dodged the question properly as Keegan took the England job which is a lot more of a glamorous prospect than Fulham was, especially at that time. That shows ambition. Ramos going to Spurs doesn't really show any ambition on his part as it was a step backwards from Sevilla. Nothing to do with Keegan going when the pressure was on or being a quitter as you call it, but then again as stated by your stupid logic so is Ramos. No offence but that is silly, Seville dont have the 10th of our resources. Lets just leave the Fulham part, what about NUFC 1st time? What about England? What about Shitty?
