Just got back from here. Very very nice. As well as all the animals to see they were doing free pony rides so the three young ladies in our group were extremely impressed. The main restaurants had about a 30 minute wait so we ended up in the carvery section which is basically hog or beef roast with bread buns, large hand cut chips, onions, stuffing etc. Twas delicious. Will definitely go back for the main restaurant. -
I know you were probably being a bit flippant but in what way do you mean? Repeating myself but I think he's very much like Rob Lee. Yeah but you quite literally don't know what you're talking about. Seems I do.

The atmospheres been shit at St James for years and goes back to seating and radgies being priced out of the game. It will either go the way of america where some organist will chip in at the exciting bits or somewhere down the line someone will see sense and introduce safe standing areas.

Have you given the irrepressible Eddy Eats a read ? He always has 'le roast beef' Nice shout, Black Horse in Beamish sounds canny. Might give it a go. Cheers. http://www.sundaysun.co.uk/eddy-eats/pubs-...79310-25829804/ -
Got to be nailed on No 1 now in even in the eyes of Harper die-hards. At fault for their goal probably but his overall keeping is getting better and better. Seems to have the shot stopping skills of Given with the added benefit of being able to come out and catch / punch stuff. Really pleased for the lad.

Nar mate had the classic blue adidas Gazelle on. Blue shirt and a wool jacket, I was lookin round for you as well, but my candidate looked like he'd been sniffer poppers for years and had more wrinkles than you close up. That probably was me. Have a small pocket of lads near us who are obviously evictees and kept trying to get something going but it was like a library tbf. The 18 - 21 section seemed to give it a good go. -
looking for a nice pub around beamish / chester le street way for lunch if any ones knows of any. Must be kid friendly.

Was on Stevie watch aswell yesterday. Saw two candidates. One looked a bit too banjo playing and the second one looked pretty close but taller, plumper and greyer than I imagined. However if you had a Greyish top, White trainers and were with a White haired older fella then maybe it was you. -

Newcastle United v Fulham --- Sunday 1.00pm Kick Off

No it's not. Because very soon the ability to paper over the cracks is going to become the reason (excuse) for why we didn't really need to make any signings over the last few days of the transfer window. We've been here before in case you didn't realise. I honestly dont think 3 losses would have made Ashley any more active in the transfer target. Sounds nice but we would be in the same boat with no points. My point is more its credit to Pardew that he is managing to (so far) get the best out of what he has. We all know he has no control over signings however he does have control over what happens on the training pitch, who starts, what the tactics are, how he changes them and who he brings on. So far he is doing a first class job, even more so when you see what he has to work with. We can all take the easy negative pot shots, but credit where its due imo. -
Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team

So far looking a decent manager regardless of the shit some give him. According to the players he has had a big impact in training, particularly on defending and seems to make good use of substitutes. Also seems quite quick to change things around if its not working. As he said himself yesterday, 3 wins in a week. Give him manager of the month you fuckers.- 10610 replies

(ct the win in the league cup was hardly something to be proud of, it took us to extra time to come back to beat a league 1 side) Tell that to Fat Sam and Bruce etc. Not a great display by any standards but it still had positives. It showed the manager is capable of changing tactics, it showed we have players who can come off the bench and win us games and it was another win which will definitely keep the confidence within the squad high. There are definitely plenty of cracks and its excellent that Pardew and the squad are managing to paper over them so far. -

My view from the match. First half absolutely pants. Nobody wanted to play out wide and Obertan and Jonas were constantly trying to play in midfield. This resulted several times in Rtaylor getting the ball in a good position, only for Jonas to be out of position to progress the move. Tiote was also pretty crap and simply passed every ball back towards the defence. Cabaye was obviously knackered by the lack of attacking options but got stuck into everything and continually ran himself ragged. Krul was excellent and again fully justified all of us who went with him as first choice keeper pre season. Simply stunning at times. Stephen Taylor again did well but had me in stitches continually kissing Krul and his fellow defenders and was hilarious in the first half trying to block their keeper from seeing a free kick being set up. Simpson is utter shite and the sooner he is out of the team, the better. Jonas was crap today and Obertan did some good stuff but is still a poor player so far. Its a sign of how overall poor the team is that people are confusing him with being decent. What can you say about our strikers that hasnt already being said. Some decent strikers would make us a decent team. Dont let Best's two goals fool you that he is the answer. Great to be on 7 points and joint second but we desperately need some strikers. -
Daughter updat..... Gemmil still favourite, followed by monkeys fist (though he seems bitter), followed by Deano ( who is very jovial). Also had a row over the pronunciation of Gemmil. Me = gemm ill Daughter = jur mill
