    Cant understand why yet again people are trying to over complicate this sorry tale. He was offered a contract in Jan. Verbally agreed then renaged. He then slagged his employers off at talk ins and via twitter. He was then told he wasnt getting a new contract and could go. He then used twitter to cause even more problems prompting the free transfer. Unfortunately for Joey, even on a free virtually every premiership club decided to stay clear. Was a great player last season and may have done so again this season but all of the above could have been avoided had he just signed the deal on the table in January. I think a lot of this is down to him believing his own hype combined with his slime ball agent pissing in his ear all summer. Think he will regret this move very very soon, never mind the relative worship he got around here compared to the abuse he will get down south.

    I remember you saying you sat right near my seat last season and it was a mint view you bought it off a pal or something? You must be dead centre behind the goal. Aye got seats there for the west brom game and Arsenal. First time iirc since the Leicester 7-1 that I'd watched the game end on. Couldn't believe how much better it was. We had a really good day at the arsenal game hence our lass getting the ST for our anniversary.

    All from a regime you support for fuck sake! Make ya mind up Andrew. Steven, Ive said many many times I would rather be back in the SJH times or have a better owner than Mike Ashley. I would have thought EVERY Newcastle fan thought the same? That doesnt mean Im going to let the regime infect everything good about the club. I mean that mug in the cup thread is almost hoping we get beat on Sunday. No good wishing your life away, you have to make the best of every situation life throws at you or you might as well be dead. The regime is immaterial in my day to day support of the club and I feel genuinely sorry for those (not particularly you) who let it smear anything good that happens at the club. (Bad news btw...My season ticket is even nearer to you) That's not bad news you can't be as lifeless as the cunts near us at the minute. What's your seat number like?     Though he put in a decent shift last night given the time he's been out and generally how crap we were in the first half. Nice to see some early crosses into the box from out wide. Didnt look afraid to get a tackle in either. Be interesting to see if Pardew will try Jonas and Marveaux in the same side. We really do have a few headaches trying to fit Jonas, Marveaux, Obertan, Vuckic and Gosling into the team.

    Got to laugh at some of the shit he gets on here. Has the bosses that he has. Has the worst pre season on record. Has all his big name players sold from beneath him. But still manages to draw with Arsenal, beat sunderland at their place and progress to the next round of the cup.....using Ryan Taylor. Football genius.

    Another decent performance by Pards last night. Obviously gave them a good kicking at half time and the subs changed the game. Nice to see him getting angry on the touchline as well. Win against Fulham and Manager of the month should be in the bag.

No letter, no badges etc. Assume thats to follow. Wifes just bought be a magpie mover as well. Excellent value at a tenner for a season. Cant fucking wait for Sunday. Might even buy a scarf

    Just back from the pub and all that really matters is that we are in the hat for the next round. Some dismal performances from Ba and Best, promising performances from Cabaye, Marveaux and Vuckic. A little disappointed with Gosling And Krul fucking brilliant. Overall a pretty shit performance, particularly from the two front men. Hopefully Ashley was watching and the penny droppped.
