If our lot haven't made Ba signing for us part of the Nolan deal then they want shooting. Somebody may have already said this in the pages I havent read yet, but BA is a free agent and West Ham have no control over him. (iirc)

Spoke to a few sales peeps in the usual places last year when I was considering upgrading from our current LCD. Basically was told by most that the best / truest picture quality was plasma because it was the only type of TV that could "display" black. They did demonstrate this well in store however there was no getting away from the fact that LED looked the crispest picture. (Our lass got a newer car instead btw ) Still got my Samsung LED which has been great and use a Humax box for satelite, pause live TV etc and a samsung blu ray which includes internet tv etc and wireless connectivity between your pc. So basically anything you have on your pc plays wirelessly on your TV. (best gadget Ive bought in ages). If you've never had surround before, watching movies is immense. Every time Ive looked at 3d in a store, its looked odd.

See this is the problem I just dont understand. Do you seriously expect that a fan base is going to have one single view on anything that arises? Do you never have differences of opinion with your own mates in the pub? Quite early in this thread quite a few posters including Alex said they didnt have a problem with this and that if he wasnt going to sign, now was the time to cash in. Quite a few other posters not on Team positive have said the same. I dont see you or the others laying into them Dont recall you telling Alex he was talking out his arse. Even twitter is quite even on the spread of opinions. Other forums seem capable of discussing football topics without descending into a girl fight. I really cant get my head around the bitchiness on here at times. We are talking about a bloke with his best years behind him, who wont make the first team next year, who hasnt been snapped up by a prem club, being sold because he wouldnt sign a new longer contract. All this after a very highly rated French international has already been brought in to replace Nolan. Quite fucking bizarre Alex doesn't support every decision the current regime make ad nauseum. We will all disagree to some extent and that is normal, but I find it very difficult not to think people are deliberately just being trite for the sake of it. I really don't get this type of comment. Is there a magical biological element in footballers that makes them suddenly become a poorer player the moment they enter their 30s? Why couldn't he have carried on till he was say 32? Do you see the likes of Man Utd and Chelsea wanting rid of their star men - captains, top scorers some of them - because they've supposedly had their peak years during their late 20s and suddenly aren't as good? Nolan isn't a pacey player. He's intelligent on the ball and a great leader off it. There is nothing to suggest any of his attributes would be severely weakened in years to come. Answer me one question then. Do you think Pardew was going to leave Tiote or Cabaye out in favour of Nolan?

Pardew wants a fast attacking midfield that doesnt include Nolan. Tiotes game might even improve again with better fitter players around him. Even Alex thinks we saw the best of Nolan last year. Honestly Deano you are wasting your time with most of these negative normans on here. They avoid all memories of Barton and Nolan knocking back extended deals in January. They avoid the types of players who we are currently trying to bring in, 80 days before the window closes. They avoid looking at the depth of the midfielders already on the books and linked with. They avoid the fact that Barton has cooked his own goose at talk ins and in the press. And they avoid the fact that Enrique has wanted champions league football for some time now. They avoid all of this, rant and rave, mention nothing of the potential of the footballers Graham Carr may well have in the Gosforrth Park as we speak..... Yet come August when the younger fitter better team is raring to go, they will be frothing with excitement. (Apart from the usual suspects who will have moved on to fortelling of the doom and horrors awaiting us at Christmas.

Honestly, I think anyone who is still clinging to the hope of Barton and Enrique playing for us next season is setting themselves up for a big disappointment.

Sorry, but this needs recording as the biggest ITK claim to date on twitter.

According to twitter there is an overseas player at St James today having talks. Still seems to me that the club are attacking this window rather than doing nowt. Cabaye on board, tried but failed with Gervinho and by the sounds of it all sorts going on. Still 70 odd days to go.
